May the Faun be With You
(Couldn't resist the temptation to quote Portal. Those of you who've played it understand, I know. )
Cross-posted from the Sierra Forums.
Hay guyz, look what I have!
Just for Faun isn't all the way back, but I've officially started its re-creation. I've got to re-build the entire site now that I have the power of CSS and a copy of Dreamweaver. So, while I'm re-building, I thought I'd ask you guys if there's anything you want to see changed.
Did you like the old design (with the yellow navigation links off to the left)? Would you prefer a simpler design? Do you have any suggestions for the site?
For the curious, here's what will be at JFF when it comes back:
About: brief info on the site and the webmaster (me)
Faun and Games: banners, icons, and other fun/random things
Talismans: fan art, screen shots, official art, and videos
Guidebook: FAQs, blurbs about Elora and her friends and foes, information about
Avalar, information about other kinds of fauns, game scripts, fan fiction, and my on-going
correspondance with character designer Oliver Wade
And of course there will be a links page.
So...thoughts, suggestions, random Elora chatter?
(For the record, JFF wasn't moved off SpyroWorld out of anger or anything. The site badly needed re-building and SR's a busy guy. I've got unlimited web space now, so I figured I'd save him some bandwidth and just move everything over to my space while I was re-making everything. SR is still awesome for getting me to start JFF in the first place. )

Ummm, I'm pretty sure this falls under the "no advertising" rule.

Re: May the Faun be With You
Thank you, SpyroRocks. And thank you for hosting the site in the past and providing the space that introduced me to all the people who made JFF a reality in the first place.

Re: May the Faun be With You
I wasn't about to let it die. I had a lot of fun making the site (and making sites in general). Now that I have leet Dreamweaver skillz, I'm really itching to resurrect a lot of my old sites and make them pretty (and easy to update ).

Re: May the Faun be With You
Oh, my mistake. -__- Maybe a comment will make up for it?
Elora's one of my favorite Spyro characters. That's some nice art on the front page there. *can't color*

Re: May the Faun be With You
Thanks. ^_^ It's always good to see another Elora fan. The front page art was done by Oliver Wade, Elora's creator (that piece is his concept art, only he made it look even better with Photoshop; the original concept was done on scrap paper in, I think, crayon
). The banner was made by Trainer Spyro out of a screen shot and Mr. Wade's pretty concept art.

Re: May the Faun be With You
I may not be an Elora fan, this is very cool. A website dedicated to Elora.
Too bad there isn't one for Ignitus. Aah, well, thanks for the update, Stormy!

This is actually Razz's site. I'm just the idiot who locked the thread for advertising. =P

It was all a big misunderstanding. Don't beat yourself up over it.

Re: May the Faun be With You
A game would be awesome. Would you like me to come up with a story or something for it? I can also do level backgrounds and cutscene art if it's needed. You'll have to tell me what kind of game you're wanting to make, though.
Also, I have figured out what I'm going to be doing with the site and I will start building it soon. Thanks for your help and support guys!

Oops.
The website is pretty cool, Razz. Keep up the good work, and I'll give you a cookie.
