Its a bass guitar. Bass guitars are longer then normal guitars. They are also more difficult to play because you use your fingers and not a pick.

Hmm ... I'm quite skilled than the guitar, and never usually play the bass. I
find the bass easier to play when I pick one up, though. I guess playing paintball
with a double-trigger gun helps you play the bass easier. But then again, I
rarely get to go paintballing, and the gun I use is single-trigger anyways.

I think that's more a matter of opinion than anything. Some people find bass easier. It just depends on whether you prefer to strum/strike the strings like a guitar, or if you find it easier to pluck strings like you would on a bass.

Also, guitar doesn't guarentee the use of a pic, some people just use their fingers. You see it a lot if they're just strumming or w/e. But yeah, the use of a pic is still super common.

Our school is like that, too. They would make us shave, get a haircut if it's
too long, and we can't wear a jacket if it's not navy blue.

At least I'm a Senior this year. Freedom is so close.
