Wanna go mature?
I think that a game more along the lines of TLoS should have more graphic fight scenes and moves. And there needs to be more bosses with grusome endings when defeated. And more things showing the damage you've done to the enemy. And just more graphics to combat. Simple and oh so fun.
I have no memory of this place...

Re: Wanna go mature?
Personally I'd like to see Spyro go a bit bloody (but not Elfen Lied style! ), but that's about it. I don't think any of the others would go down well.
And I don't mean too bloody (no decapitations or anything like that), just say a character gets injured; it will make it more realistic.

Re: Wanna go mature?
I pretty much think the same as Saphira. I can personally tolerate some blood--well, actually, lots of blood, I suppose. But, it would probably be better the way Saphira said.
Edit: Bah. I wish I could retract my vote. >.>

Re: Wanna go mature?
Yeah I like blood too, but too much will just ruin Spyro. As I said, just a little bit will be more realistic and will attract more fans.

No.
Spyro's already going too dark as it is. Even the switch to the combat thing was a stretch for me. That's not how Spyro was supposed to be.

Re: Wanna go mature?
I see no reason too. The main reason Sierra made TLOS a higher rating was so taht they could attract kids who thought it was cooler. E10 is fine by me, but i find no reason to try get any lower or higher rating.

I really don't care. I'm fine with Spyro as it is, but more blood would be fun.

Agreed.
In fact, it would be kind of a stupid move for them to try to go mature, seeing as most of the fanbase is probably too young to play M-rated games.

Re: Wanna go mature?
I would like a better combat system, more diolog, a more well done story (something to get me to belive that this is actilly the world ending, not a cutscean telling me that) longer game itself, more intricices and gray area for the hero to swim through, and perhaps some blood...
But if someone really and truely wants all this, then they are better off playing God of War 3. There is even a mature minigame in there! (your mission, knock the vase off the table, your tools, what Zeus gave you)

Yeah, I think that being dark and having seeming "grown up" is one thing but adding blood, gore and swearing will turn the kids, let alone the parents away.
Older dragon fans have to realise that the younger dragon fans make up the TLOS fanbase. thats how I see it.

Re: Wanna go mature?
Despite TLoS being fighting-based, I don't think going mature is a good idea. Still, maybe if they made an Original Trilogy-based game that followed along the lines of Conker's Bad Fur Day...

IMO, A Satire that remains in the E10 Spectrum is what Id rather for the original Spyro rather than what was in Conkers bad fur day.

I wouldn't particularly like Spyro to go mature; Spyro has always been a lighthearted, kiddy game. But I'm just saying if they HAD to do it...

Re: Wanna go mature?
that's a difficult one
classic Spyro was for kids, despite having that element for older players - any change in that rating and it wouldn't have been the Spyro I love
TLoS is a different thing~ I think it features much darker elements than original Spyro... though I wonder if I could ever get my head around Spyro being full on mature and bloody... I don't think I could ever see it being a sexual game at all, it would be a little weird to hear him swear too, but definitely not as weird as it being sexual
I don't mean too bloody (no decapitations or anything like that), just say a character gets injured; it will make it more realistic.
agreed, I'd like that too

Oh don't tell me, 'Gave them all that they could drink but it'd never be enough.'
My answer: NO.
Spyro has got mature enough, I think.
I mean, you can always tell when the game producers are running out of ideas, roll up roll up! Bring in the annoying love intrest!
No, I don't think I'd play it if it turned into a total pit of depair. I want to go back to the cocky, arrogant Spyro who liked running around like a maniac and bragging about things. That suited him best.
Oh brightly-coloured, bad-graphic worlds, I do miss you so.

Re: Wanna go mature?
ok personaly i wona have a bloody gore fest exsploding bodys but most of all i wont a gow ending for bosses in the tlos series seriously when i first fought gaul i wonted to rip his head off and thin play golf with his leg as my putter but rejoining my vote ^^ and due to the anoying rateing system some parents would indeed "shield" there children from playing causing the fan base to shrink to much this could lead to no more spyro T-T but i still wish for more bloog more violence i mean hes a bloody dragon for crying out loud he used to burn sheep and some how that became butterflys O.O i still dont find that possible even in another realm. but more more more more interactive violence when you ram something it should empell it buwahaha and let you thrash yur dragon head around or like the electric balls from night of eternal darkness XD those should enter the body thin make the enemy exsplode the fire meh effective but the earth should perma slow large enemys like you broke a bone or something make thim limp i love the crystal form of it re use that but make it go through thim and into other enimes leaving large holes ^^the furries from the others games need to return i mean seriously...dotd... wasnt good when it came to the sheacail rage mode... it was boring and lame..and malfor needed to die in a more harsh way hehe like the giant crystal shatters and thin sharpens into large spike and spine around him slowly the second he gose to speek the ancesters spirits apere and forceas the crystals to crush/empale him to death ^^ oh well thats only a lil of my openion ^^
