Anyway, recently the EU is thinking of reducing the amount of fishing that can be done in EU areas because of over fishing. Comments?

By sexuality, im not saying you can't talk about boyfriend/girlfriend relationships, im saying I don't want discussions about the moral/political side of homosexual or hetrosexual relationships discussed because I think it falls under politics.

You got a point. But we know that some users doesn't post that much which causes a topic to go over a month and dies, I just like a General Discussion topics to stay at a low number like 5 or below (like this one).
General Discussion 5 will be the last one I'll start and we all don't need a General Discussion 6, not even I want it.

Re: General Discussion 5
i wouldn't mind if the General Discussion saga continued. i would post in these more often, but usually the topics in these threads are things that don't interest me. just a matter of opinion.
@ midget_roxx, i never really saw the point of fishing, or any kind of hunting... and even if you throw the fish back, it's pointless because nothing really comes out of it. that must suck for the people who enjoy it though.

It's not wrong to bump an age-old thread if there's something new to say, especially for a thread that encompasses almost any topic to discuss. Point is, this thread shouldn't have been created and the OP should've revived the v4 thread. I mentioned this pretty much the time when the previous thread was created...
A potential solution would be to sticky a general discussion thread instead of letting it fall out of view when posts slow down. I'd recommend this.

You do realise that buy cutting the amount of fish being able to be fished, the EU is actually addressing the concern of overfishing (which is a problem, just not well known). By cutting the fishing industry it causes job loss and economy loss something that no government ( in this case central organization) would want to happen.
This actually shows that the EU is doing something and possibly addressing problems that might arise in the future

oh yeah, people make jobs doing that, huh? i hadn't thought of that lol. so are they cutting ALL fishing [sport AND business], or just fishing for fun? because if there are jobs based on fishing, the EU shouldn't be messing with that.

Yeah, let's not keep making new GD threads. The old one could have been used again. If this one dies, you guys can just bump it back.
Good idea though, bmah. I will sticky this now. ;D

Fail. The UK is already part of the EU. Honestly, kids these days, eh? And within the first page we are descending into politics.

Just realised they stickied the thread . The whole point of it being in the normal forum is an incentive to keep in on page 2

Well I don't really have anything to say, so how will I contribute without being labelled a spammer when in turn I'm trying to keep this thread alive?

Re: General Discussion 5

I just lost the game.
I think I get exemption from losing the game if someone near me loses. And a half-hour grace period.
I have absolutely no idea what car I will drive when I can be bothered to get one. Something practical, till I have enough financial stretching room to go for something a little more fancy.
