do what i do, don't play modern video games.

man, gaming has gotten so complicated. you used to just buy the game and play it. if there were bugs, you just... kind of dealt with it. now there are accounts, and online and offline play, patches, DLC (including on-disc), etc. i'm rambling.

A bit too late for that, I'm afraid. I really hope I didn't waste fifty bucks, though. The game itself is really, really good, but playing it offline is pointless. Once you get to a certain point in the game, it becomes basically impossible to play.

hm. can you use cheat devices in *offline* mode?

i played some of the first Dark Souls with a friend, and it seems like a fun game to mess around with, give yourself infinite amounts of a weapon or estus flasks, change your height value (or y or z value) and go over/through stuff, etc.

Yeah, you probably can, but I doubt it's as fun as playing online :l

man, i was hoping somebody else would have an answer to your question other than my rambling about the good old days.

while i'm doing that though, i could also point out the good old days when games didn't cost $50 and the only way to play games with others was to go over to each other's houses.

Times have changed bro. Gaming is evolving and as new systems and such happens game prices go up. But people still do go to each other's houses to play games that hasn't changed.

Also I've got a lot of gaming to catch up on. With Super Smash Bros for 3DS and Mario Kart 8 around the corner here I go.

I got Dark Souls 2's online working yesterday, finally. Turns out it was something stupid that I should've thought of earlier, but that I shouldn't have had to do in the first place. I had to lower my router's security settings.

I've been training a Gible into a Garchomp. In Pokemon X it's already Gabite still got a long way to go but getting there.
