Re: General Discussion 5

KingLambda used to get in trouble for buying things only a few years ago because his mom would check his bank statements. roll Once he got a new account without her name on it, we stopped having problems with that.

Re: General Discussion 5

I don't buy much right now. Usually it's gas or whatever. Or if I go on a date, which has happened recently.

Re: General Discussion 5

My roommate has that same problem. Not sure why he just doesn't get a new bank account.

So I just bought Kirby Triple Deluxe yesterday. I've got to say, you're never too old for a Kirby game. smile Seems like a great game to play if you're in a bad mood. It's just so freaking cute. And they have some cool new copy abilities as well.

I love Yoshi so I don't know what the Yoshi curse is? In my book his games have been great but whateves some might disagree.

Re: General Discussion 5

I think the latest Yoshi game on 3DS was pretty bad. That's what I heard at least.

I don't if Yoshi's Wolly World will change that but it sure looks fun.

Re: General Discussion 5

It was :-P though I must say...do Marvel films rely on using Macguffins?

I noted they used it in GOTG (which was fine since it was more about the characters than the plot) but then I remembered they used it in Thor 2 hmm the only difference was it was red...and moved.

But yer GOTG was so good :-P I thought It was going to be a let down with all the hype around it, but nope :-P

Re: General Discussion 5

Yeah, I have noticed that they rely on MacGuffins a lot. Although Thor 2 was so unmemorable for me that I can't even begin to comment on how it executed the trope. tongue

Re: General Discussion 5

I think Thor 2 was by far better than Thor 1, still not as good as the others though.
