I think the film is pretty much stuck in development hell for now.... Then again with all the confusion and problems going on behind the scenes at the Blizzard/Activision the future of the whole franchise is pretty much in doubt. I really hope they get their collective acts together and continue what they started with this reboot. I don't want to see another reboot. One is enough.

But it's crazy how so many companies are claiming they are making a film. Velvet Octopus, The Animation Picture Company, they said they were making one. So either the companies have dropped the idea or are doing a really good job of keeping it under covers.

velvet octopus are a finace and sale company also in the same building in brighton is the stealth media group which is also part of velvet after some intensive searchin on web as for the animation picture company i am un able to find much information on them apart from finding there webpage which dosn't tell much information
