Eh, it might be more respectful to the fans of that game, I guess. *shrug*

I just think since it wasn't a good story to begin with, why bother finishing it? I don't want to keep reading a book with boring characters and a predictable storyline.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly are the plot holes everyone's talking about?

All name a few for ya here:

1. During ANB, while Spyro and co. cleared out the Dragon temple, and after the first training, Ignitus somehow learns Sparx's name

2. In DOTD, when SxC are getting their mana back, the Chronicler simply "gives" SxC their breathes back, while in previous games, Spyro had to reawaken them or go through training

3. Cynder being able to breath more than one breath (I know, power of darkness, but this is still inconsistent with previous games)

4. Cynder not freaking out, or questioning who the heck the Chronicler is.

That's to name a few... there are lots more when you actually sit down and scrutinize it.

Possibly, but don't forget about the dream sequences in TEN, every time Spy- err - Gary fell asleep he go into some dream like state... maybe just maybe, he pulled Cynder and Sparx in with him, and they fought of nightmares or something... and Cynder meat the Chronicler for the first time... something along those lines I suppose hmm

What happened to Sparx' and Spyro's parents(Well, more accurately, Sparx' rela parents and Spyro's foster parents)?

Who is going to be the next fire guardian seeing as Ignitus is now the Chronicler?

some other plot holes...

So...ever since Spyro got trapped in the crystal,Malefor came back, pwn'd the guardians, took thier temple and set it levitating over a volcano... and they were forced to move into dragon city,from where I assume Ignitus told Hunter to find Spyro and Cynder...
Why did it take him 3 years to do so lool??? I mean if you look at the map of DoTD ,dragon city isn't that far away from the catacombs, its just like a day or two of journey lul.

How come the enemies got to the catacombs at the exact same time as hunter did... ?

assume those enemies are Malefor's minions( since they look like his other minions in the game, and they caried the chain thing which was crafted by Malefor), why the hell did they set Spyro and Cynder free in the first place?!! OH im just gonna set you guys free and put this chain on you ... but you know you can still fly around and fight and escape.. WTF
so it makes it look like Malefor wanted them to stop him ...whuuaaa?cos it's obvious they are going to try do that... it would make more sence if Hunter set them free, but he didn't...

why didn't Malefor summon the Destroyer right after he got back? He just so happened to wait 3 years,and then Spyro and Cynder came back and he was like:
Oh my... wooa I totally forgot I wanted to summon the Destroyer to blow up the planet.. and he just politely announces it when everybody is in Dragon city..., so they can go stop it... can't you just summon him and not tell everyone?
: I'm going to summon the Destroyer which will blow up the planet, come stop me 8D...

Rule #1: Do NOT inform your nemesis' about your plan.

Rule #2: If your nemesis' are incarcerated do NOT set them free.

Rule #3: IF you have a plan to destroy the world and you my the means to do so, don't wait until your nemesis' are awake.

Just felt like adding those, for fun.

Ugh, please don't mention Rule 34... I had enough of that nonsense with Star Fox over Krystal. Really don't want to see, hear, or anyother physical senses here for Spyro... even though the TLOS promotes it mad .

If Spyro ever got a girlfriend they should just be friends mostly in the series, with the relationship being more one-sided. Like Spyro and Elora. tongue

They hit a goldmine..For littlekids...Of course they are not going to throw it away.

If i had my way i Have a reboot where both spyros are in...We just focus the story on Spyro (Aka Orginial) and his little brother Spy {AKA TLOS}

And yeah those names suck.

No...I was thinking that Ember would be those duo sister..

And that Cynder and flame were siblings.

Besides we don't have the worry about that...I mean i already said in my idea that Spyro is the main focus and that his little brother (AKA TLOS spyro) Is more of a secondary focus

In the next game I want to see

1. In depth storytelling with a really good plot to boot
- ANB's plot was alright; for a first game in a reboot that is acceptable
- TEN's plot was alright and better than ANB's but nothing you can sink your teeth into
- DOTD....well they just *bleep*ed up there didn't they? The whole thing from beggining to end felt predictable and a total fanfare.

2. Gameplay that memicks the classics but keeps TLOS's story
So you would have open spaced enviroments (Like some of DOTD) keep the way of combat, but not the constance of it.

3. Graphics
TLOS didn't fail there, but I kinda wish the background and enviroments didn't look like they were painted on.

As a quick add to that, I would love to see a whole lot of different creatures and have an ingame besitary on them.

Im not so sure i believe you, i've signed up to game spot and they tell me everything that happened in E3, how i didnt hear anything about spyro from them?

Activision is to blame, only revealing their other games they released. They're already announcing the sequels to them near the end of 2010 or in 2011.

Hey DM,

I believe that the series isn't over yet. Even know this series wasn't even mention at this year's E3, but the only games they talk about is "over-rated" games

Games can pop out of nowhere, even when we lease expect it. Who knows, they might be another Spyro game release later this year.
