Re: A forgotten detail about Cynder

I honestly think that they dragon population is at the least severely depleted, if not fully extinct. Do keep in mind that in A New Beginning Ignitus explains that Cynder basically killed them all.

As for the weird dragons that show up, and all the strange information that can be obtained from DotD, i think it just has to do with the creators being lazy and not caring about the original cannon.

Re: A forgotten detail about Cynder

It's a shame the other eggs were destroyed during the raid, I would of liked to see the other dragons born besides Spyro and Cynder. Also what did happen to Spyro's adoptive parents and Sparx's parents? Did they die? I hated that Eternal Night and Dawn of The Dragon never answered that.

Re: A forgotten detail about Cynder

i know, right?? i was hoping throughout playing those games they'd show Sparx's and Spyro's parents again. when you're training with Ignitus in ANB, Spyro even says "wait til i tell the folks about this!"

Re: A forgotten detail about Cynder

Spyro and Cynder will be like a big happy family. And then "Spyro's son" is actually the one you see in "Spyro the Dragon" on PS1. Since now he's just having fun chasing sheeps while all the stuff in the past is just in the past etc.

Story fiction cool

It's funny how you mention that. You just reminded me of this timeline that I made on my personal opinion of the chronology of the series. You will see that there's a whole "purple dragon theory" in there. Something I forgot to mention is that the other purple dragons, in my opinion, are dragons that conjured spells to paint themseleves in honor of another purple dragon of history.

The thing is, they forgot who they were honoring. The "elder Spyro," I'm calling him, has been left into obscurity. The younger Spyro doesn't even know jack about his ancestor, so his carefree behavior is the result of ignorance.

Though, it'd be ironic if the next Spyro game (or series) were made to reveal that the Sorcerer is the young Spyro's father and the elder Spyro's SON. That would be a plot twist.
