When I first saw the screenshot I though that he was stung relentlessly by a swarm of bees. [INSERT WICKER MAN SCENE HERE] I definatally say I was shocked by the character design and put everything else in the back seat for a few minutes. Now that I turn to the said gameplay with character selection done by lock & key method makes it feel like a interactive toy box game with Action RPG tied in.

I wonder if you would be able purge the data stored in the toys if only one save slot is used instead of multiple ones. Huh, I wonder if some hackers will find a way to emulate the 'lock & key' so they can avoid paying to unlock content that may already be on the game disc.

I wonder if the toys aren't just memory cards. Maybe they actually have level designs in them. Would you be able to play a character's storyline without that actually owning that character's figurine?

lol, the game sounds like a mess, period. Haha If I don't like it then it's something serious, lol cuz I'm open to just about anything.

New universe looks interesting.
Cutest Spyro design IMO.

What's with the portal thing?

Well... Yeah. I think Spyro looks cute in this version, but this is just my opinion.

So far, I see some potential, but I have to wait until I hear the voices and the music. If Stewart Copeland and Tom Kenny come back, that would be awesome.

Spyro is probably going to be voiced by somebody. We only saw gameplay videos of the game anyways.

I'm positive for now. I'll only become negative closer towards the release date if there are certain things that I dislike.

i DO still like Spyro. thing is, Spyro's Adventure isn't a Spyro game, so i still like Spyro.

i don't care what Activision, Toys For Bob, or any company says, and i don't care how many people put images of it in their avatars/sigs, this is not a Spyro game. Activision admitted that they put Spyro in because fans recognize him.

That's not much different to TLoS, yet your avatar seems to suggest you accepted that as a Spyro game.

If they wanted to make an actiony beat-em-up game with a "dark" serious story and dragon main character, they could have done so without using Spyro.
About the only thing TLoS had that was "more" Spyro-y than this game is the character design and they still had that wrong.

At least this new game seems to have the right style and maybe doesn't take tiself so seriously.
Of course that doesn't stop me from disliking both games for using Spyro as a lure for fans.

I hope you're right. The gameplay footage I've seen gives him grunts and growls. Hopefully that changes.
