Re: Is spyro dead?
Spyro died after the end of Hero's tail, the TLoS were nowhere as good.

Re: Is spyro dead?
Spyro is not dead.
Put in your disk, start a new/saved game, poof - he's jumping for joy.
O.o
Spyro games are not dead unless you make them dead. Kind of like
awkwardness, nothing is awkward until you say it is awkward.

Re: Is spyro dead?
The entire Spyro IP and Skylanders IP are two completely different franchises now.
Spyro is dead, and so is crash. This is due to company greed. They bought both, but in the end dissed the fans and killed them.
Skylanders is not spyro, no matter how much people want it to be.
I just wish some millionaire would come along who loves spyro like we do and simply buy the original IP from activision. :'(

Re: Is spyro dead?
I'd say yeah, he's dead. Spyro's gone from something for the kids into something for Activision's bank. As though CoD wasn't enough. <_<
May the shards pierce my skin.

He's not dead. He lives on as long as the fans remember him I always will!

I get hating Skylanders and all... but that page is beyond immature. How did it even get the 47 fans it has?

99% of anything posted on facebook is stupid.

Re: Is spyro dead?
That page is just outstandingly stupid though.... It looks like a thirteen-year-old boy just vomited Funnyjunk.com all over it.
...And I figured you had to be one of the admins of it since there was that post about Case Closed...?

Re: Is spyro dead?
^I wouldn't be surprised if ccrogers was one of the admins or founder of the page. He hates Skylanders and its Spyro with a passion. I saw him post on the Skylanders Game page once (His name was instantly recognizable along with his hatred towards Skylanders Spyro), trolling about Skylanders Spyro before his comment was deleted and supposedly his account as well.

Re: Is spyro dead?
Yes, i am an admin.
But i did not *make* the page.
Plus, i only control the likes and delete users and stuff. I dont actually post info, as i dont have rights to that on the page.
Yes, Aura24 i did post on skylanders page, but i deleted the post because in the end i thought it was too immature.

Re: Is spyro dead?
Now, Don't get me wrong. I do like Skylanders (the first one) but I just can't make the connection..
No it's not due to appearence.. It's something else..
I agree with you. Spyro is now a purple dragon. Not the purple dragon. Not the same purple dragon. Not the same purple dragon we knew in the first games. Not even the same dragon as in The Legend of Spyro. He's a new dragon now. And we'll probably have to get used to it.

That something else:
Poor voice acting
No jumping
Crap camera angle
There you go.

Re: Is spyro dead?
I personally don't consider him dead at all.
I'm trying to start some Spyro Projects, check my guestbook for details, please throw some ideas to me so I can do as best as I can for the fandom. ^^
