Cynder and Ember

I sort of prefer Cynder over Ember, simply because Cynder's backstory was tragic and the fact she was used for evil and even after becoming good, others still viewed her as evil and no longer trusted her, saddened me.

KingLambda: was Cynder meant to be deep either, though? she gave off that impression in ANB and part of TEN, but they just kinda threw that out the window in DOTD. like her past was supposed to be some significant part of her role throughout the series, but then they just gave her this snobby kind of attitude in DOTD and aside from a few "lol you used to be evil" moments, mostly forgot about the whole thing.

To be honest I'm basing my idea of Cynder off the way people talk about her. I've never actually played TLoS. Based on the way you describe her she doesn't sound too super serious either. Still not funny either though, which is how I saw Ember.

Cynder is better if only for the GODSEND that was her backstory. But they screwd it up.

Ember has a lot of untapped potential but she never came back so...
