Well, you see... the larger a posterior's circumference, the larger the surface area would be. More surface area means more room to absorb the shock, essentially meaning less pain. Can't make any scientific declarations about pain caused by the removal of the exorbitant amount of tape used in the process, though. That's a matter of personal preference, which I did not cover in my evil scientist seminar.
