Sign up onto Newgrounds or Soundclick. Sites like Ocremix and others that specialize in video game music are full of people and judges that expect top-of-the-notch stuff immediately.
I haven't used FL Studio yet, but pretty much everyone else who makes music seem to. I use Reason 2.5.

Ah yeah. I'm on Soundclick. Haven't added anything to there in ages though. I may start to again. I'm also on Dance-Industries.com

Re: The making of Spyro music
It's a good thing I had a look around the forum as I was going to make a thread about this video.
Anyway, Copeland made a really great job composing the soundtrack for Spyro. The soundtrack is one of the things that I love about the series and is one of my favourite videogame soundtrack of all time.

Re: The making of Spyro music
I remember EtD having some fantastic music. One of the few good things about that game.
As for the Spyro 3 music, there was another composer besides Copeland credited. Always kind of blamed that guy for the music not being as good (although he was in Spyro 2 as well if I remember right.)

Re: The making of Spyro music
I think the extra composer (Ryan Beveridge, I believe) credited just does those retro new age hipster sounds that Copeland uses in the homeworlds of Spyro 2.

Re: The making of Spyro music
Wow Ryan was in Spyro 2? Wonder why he suddenly got a much bigger role in the 3rd game? Really should've stuck to the ambiance like in the 2nd game, though.

Re: The making of Spyro music
I looked it up, I guess I was wrong, the guy who made the ambience sounds in Spyro 2 wasn't credited, while Beveridge only helped Copeland write the music for Spyro 3.
