Contest: Just for Faun logo

Hey guys! Okay, I am need of your help. Just for Faun is coming along nicely, but it still needs a main site banner/logo. So, I would like to hold a contest to design a logo.

The rules:
* it must have Elora featured prominently in it
* if you cannot put Elora into the picture, you may use some scenery from Avalar (preferably Summer Forest or Autumn plains), but you cannot include any other characters in this image
* it must say "Just for Faun" on it in a readable font and color
* please try to stick with official art and screen shots
* size is 200 pixels high by 540 pixels wide
* contest will end on February 15

Prizes:
* 10,000 gems, your logo on Just for Faun, and your name in the "thank you" page
* if I have the time, I would like to try to draw the winner his/her favorite Spyro character
* also if I have the time, I would like to do a simple pen sketch of the favorite Spyro character of anyone who enters this contest

Okay, here is my paltry collection of Elora screens along with her Japanese manual art and Oliver Wade's two Elora pieces (though I hesitate to use either of those in the logo itself).

I, alas, do not have any Avalar screens that are big enough but don't include other characters (namely, Spyro big_smile ).

That would be awesome! Heck, if you want to do two versions, one with just the lake and one with her in it, feel free.

What I'm going for is a similar site design to my Seem fan site, which used a screen capture from the Precursor Temple of "Jak 3" as part of its banner:

I'll give it a shot. but I'm not really good at making banners.
it's probably going to take a couple tries for me to get it.
Feel free to give corrective criticism when I submit my entry.

Also I would like to know which picture of Elora is your favorite and which you would prefer to have in your banner.
That information would help a lot. big_smile

Eternal Night: I would prefer a standard image instead of an animated one. This banner will be at the top of almost every page of the site and moving images can be distracting.

Trainer Spyro: Oh, my favorite picture is definitely the two Oliver Wade sent me. XD There are some really great screens of Elora, too, that I like a lot. I am leaving this pretty open, though.

I certainly don't mind and Mr. Wade said I could use the art on my site (I will be posting his full versions on a couple of pages on the site itself, so people will be able to see the whole thing).

Not at all! This is an open contest. The only real requirements are that it be 200hx540w pixels, have "Just for Faun" on it, and either show Avalar or Elora. smile As long as it fits the first two points and has one or the other from the last point, it's a valid entry. smile
