Mephiles: Oh Silver, how very naive of you. I thought ahead! I didn't send Fire's pod out without good reason. My energy blast that knocked him in there has a second purpose. Mind control, and not like the limited one of Black Doom's. Shadow was able to escape Black Doom's all to easily because he shared Black Doom's strength and blood. But I... I have endless power, far more than Fire could have, and therefore, he will never escape. All I have to do is trigger it, and he will become my slave. My distraught behavior at "losing" Fire was merely a facade.

OOC: Well, you left Tails and Cosmo off where Tails asked if Cosmo remembered what he told her before she sacrificed herself. Mephiles revealed that Fire is his slave, because when he blasted Fire into the stasis pod, there was also a second part to it, mind control. He can control Fire to do whatever he wants, and if Fire resists, Mephiles will kill him.

OOC: *sighs* Mephiles is making Fire his slave, as I explained in previous posts. Fire and Silver are on the ARK, and Spyro isn't there. Fire isn't evil, but he can't stop, because Mephiles has control of his body and mind and is forcing him to fight Silver.
