Re: The Official Sheila Fan Club

I am Aussie too, from what I heard, Sheila sounds Austrailan but not the over the top Aussies (I am not insulting the accent).

Anywho, I love Sheila, she is awesome

Re: The Official Sheila Fan Club

I wish that they had of used Shelia a bit more. She is a good charcter and i reckon she would have been a good thing for the series.

Steve Irwan talked in a Cocnee accent, So did Bruce from Finding Nemo.

You sort of turned around and contradicted yourself in mid-post; Sheila does have an Australian accent, just a different one from your own. It's just the one that's most recognizable to us Americans, probably because of Paul Hogan and Steve Irwin. Even if Sheila missed the mark a bit in authenticity, she was clearly supposed to be Australian.

Yeah, your right, Cocnee is a type of english accent, not Australian. But Some people in Australia do speek in an accent similar to cocnee except a bit more pronounced and nasally. I myself have never seen an australia talk like that except for people like steve irwin and paul hogan but i'm sure that there might be some more. But yeah, the stereotypical australian accent is like Steve Irwin and Paul hogan.
but anyway... sheila is supposed to be australian

Re: The Official Sheila Fan Club

YAY Sheila! She was my favorite playable character from Year of the Dragon (Spyro and Sparx aside, I mean).  I liked her accent- however fake it might have been- and her personality. Laid-back and easy-going, but still able to kick butt if she needed to. Besides that, she was the easiest for me to play- all the others felt too slow, for some reason. And...and she's a kangaroo! Who lives in the mountains with billy goats! What's not to love?

There seems to be a sufficient lack of her in all games after Year of the Dragon. To the credit of the people who made those games, she does get mentioned more than certain other characters (coughELORAcough), but I still wish she'd have gotten used more. I liked her. sad

Welcome to SpyroForum, SpaceKase!

You are right, Sheila is a good character. One of Spyro's good friends.

Re: The Official Sheila Fan Club

I know this thread's bit old, but... GO SHEILA! *runescape style headbang* She was my favorite playable character in Year of the Dragon (besides Spyro). I just love her personality. And her haiku in Spooky Swamp. XD

Sheila was awesome. I loved her levels.

Also, here's a crossover between Elora and Sheila. I think her name is Ella. big_smile

Re: The Official Sheila Fan Club

I think the most likely person for Sheila to be attached to is Bentley. I totally want to see their kids. XD

Re: The Official Sheila Fan Club

Of all the pairings I've heard of for Sheila, Bentley was the best. This fic had a lot to do with it: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2520710/1/Sticks_and_Stones
