Marth: Friend... I saw this white light, and the next thing I know, I'm here. I've never seen anything like that in Altea before.

Fire: Altea?

Marth: That's my kingdom. I was originally a prince there until it was invaded, my father killed, and myself exiled. I then started gathering allies and took Altea back, becoming it's king. Then one of my former allies invaded Altea and usurped my throne. When I killed him, it turns out that he was being possessed by a dark sorcerer, and the evil shadow dragon, Medeus.

Sonic: I basically stop Eggman from taking over the world.

Fire: I help him out with that.

Marth: I defend Altea and the other kingdoms from the Shadow Dragons. They're the most evil creatures that exist in my world, only the sword I hold, Falchion, is able to destroy them. It's referred to as the Sword of Light. Medeus in particular was nasty.

Marth: That's Link. A lot of fighters from different worlds once competed in a tournament, he was one of the fighters and a hero just like all of us. Which is why he's called the Hero of Time. He defeated the King of Evil, Ganondorf.

Fire: Why didn't you let him introduce himself.

Marth: He's what we call a...silent hero. He feels that actions speak louder than words.
