Crystal cried and hugged Ayumi. "I was so scared. I didn't know what to do! I was afraid to lose you...." she didn't even care if Aurora was there seeing her crying. She rarely shows Aurora her sensetive side.

Crystal stares at the ruby as it now glows. She begins to drool and pictures of the ruby are in her eyes. All of the sudden a death hound jumps in front of the ruby and stares at the dragons.
"This ruby is Master's property now. Its powers will surely grant him great strength. You shall not be taking it." it said.

Aurora snapped out of her trance and growled at the Death Hound, "Not if I can help it!" She lunged at the Death Hound and tackled it away.

The Hound stammered as he was hit and backed a little. "Oh really little dragon?" he said as he charged at her. "Master Drakas wants this stone and your not gonna have it!" Crystal's mind snapped as she heard the name Drakas. It was the black dragon that terrorized the western lands. "Aurora be careful!" she yelled.

"Oh Black Tooth such kind threats shouldn't be direct. If you want to get master's stone you have to do it by force." a voice said behind the stone. When Crystal looked to see who it is she saw a human in black metal armor and a large sword. "Agree master. But these fools tried to take it from us. Should I kill em now for meat? Or should I use the ruby to wipe them out?" he asked. The human known as Arborik laughed. "Easy my friend. I got something much darker." he put his hand on the hounds head firm but petted it. "These creatures were tough to capture with the seal but they are quite useful. You can control them too if you want." then 13 Darklings came out from the ground and looked at the dragons.

"Oh man can it get any worse?" Crystal stood her ground waiting for an attack. The darklings were about to attack once they got near but the glass window behind them burstead and a Orange dragon appeared in front of them. The shards obliterated 5 darklings but regenerated. "Firestar!" Crystal yelled.
"Arborik!" Firestar called out.

"This guy giving you a hard time guys?" he asked. Crystal smiled as she saw him. "Yeah and his mutt and minions too!" she yelled. Firestar took a look at the Darklings and thought to himself. 'Strange. Drakas never had these beings. And why are they familiar?' Firestar looked back at the dragons and smiled. "Lets head out! We can fight them easily but I have a feeling this is not a fair fight."

Black Tooth was about to give chase until Arborik stopped him. "We'll see them again soon Back Tooth. And we'll see this new darkness." he said smiling eagrly. He looked back at the ruby ball and shrugged. "This power wasn't here before. Darklings! Carry that ruby out of here."

Firestar, Ayumi, Aurrora and Crystal flew out of the lighthouse and landed near the beach. "Everyone ok?" he asked.
