Eon closed her eyes tighter, trying to force out the image of Steph nearly killing her in her mind. She gitted her fangs together, trying to hold back tears. One managed to slide down her face, landing on the ground. How could she have not seen this comming?

Eon's eyes shot open, a fire of rage burning in them. She grabbed Ika's paw, crushing it in her own. She growls, spreading her wings and baring her fangs.
