idk you guys! i have downloaded roblox one of the funest games in history and it hasent done much but if you have dowloaded maybe more than you should have bad things can happen :-|

my friend forund this frog game she liked right? and so she clicked on it. turns out she had to download it and as soon as she did the computer just stopped. wouldnt work, wouldnt get on internet, nothin! so now even though she has DSL she has to go to start,search,favorites,MSN.com just to get on internet!

HOW TO MAKE A FLASH GAME!

1. You need Adobe Flash CS3 9.0

saerch around the internet you might be able to find other game making softwares but i recommend Game Maker.

That's pretty cheap compared to many other kind of game engines, and it isn't even limited to games!

Gamemaker takes WAY too long to make games, and even though it is free, it is VERY restricted.

If you want a powerful and cheap game engine, then check out this for 2d games, and this for 3d games.

Yes, those game engines ARE cheap... $100 and $150 is VERY cheap considering most game engine that good are worth over 20 grand.

So there is also this for those who want to make a 3d game with VERY good graphics (think Halo 3, Half-life, and Quake merging together).

So here is the scale:

1. TGEA

Pros:
-Very high graphics
-3d gaming
-Networking
-Easy to learn
-Port games to: Wii, Xbox, 360, PS2, iPhone.

Cons:
-$295
-Doesn't work on old computers
-DX9 only (OpenGL in the future)

2. TGE

Pros:
-3d gaming
-Networking
-OpenGL support
-Only $150
-Easy to learn
-Port games to: Wii, Xbox, 360, PS2, iPhone

Cons:
-Medium graphics
-Does not support high res. shaders.
-Does not work on old computers

3. TGB

Pros:
-Networking
-VERY easy to learn
-$100
-Behavior system
-High quality 2d graphics
-OpenGL support

Cons:
-Limited to 2d graphics

4. Flash CS3

Pros:
-Does more then games.
-Many tutorials.

Cons:
-$300
-Very limited graphics processor
-Hard to learn
-Takes long to make games.

5. Gamemaker 7.0

Pros:
-Free

Cons:
-DX9 only
-Does not support shaders
-Limited to 2d graphics
-Very limited graphics processor
-Long to make games
-VERY Limited scripting language
-No license to sell any games

I would say, if you are broke and got no money, then your only choice is Gamemaker. If you have enough money, then get TGB, for it is voted the following:

Best 2d game engine under $10,000 for 2006 and 2008.
Highest standard quality for making casual games for 2006 and 2007.
Fastest 2d graphics processor in a game engine for 2008.

Remember, ALL the Torque tools have .NET support... Which means you can have players play online.
