Crumbling into Chaos

Gravex stopped and stood at the entrance and looked back, to see Aquares making her way and swimming in a river that goes around the city.

"You go on ahead, I'll stay out here..."

"You sure?"

"Yea, besides, the water here is fresh and unusally purifyed..."

Gravex only shrugged and entered the city without hesitation.

"Sir..you may want to give the medic a visit.." a random dragon said.

"I KNOW! WHERE IS IT!?" Aurgal snapped.

"F-follow the road a-and t-take a left. T-then go into the first building on your left." The dragon stuttered, walking away fast.

Gravex heard someone snap, but he thought it'd be best if he just let it be. He looked around and was in a train of thought.

"......why am I here again?"

"WHAT in the world did YOU TWO DO!?" The medic yelled at them. it was a black dragoness with jade eyes and pearl horns. She also had three thin scars on her chest.

"Shut up..." Aurgal hissed. "The place we were in burned down."

"So WHY do you have a large pole THROUGH YOUR SHOULDER!?" She continued.

"Can you get it out?" Aura asked.

The medic sighed. "Yes...but it will be painfull. the wound seemed to start to heal around it..."

Gravex shook his head, trying to remember why he was here, and decided to wander about until something occured to him.

"...The Flea market is a good place to start...."

"What should I do?" Aura asked, having already been healed.

"I don't know. Go wander for about thirty minutes. I should be done." the medic said.

"Go. I'll be fine." Aurgal told Aura.

"Alright..." Aura responded as she left.

Aurgal nodded for the medic to start, bracing himself.

Gravex walked around the Flea Market staring at various merchendises when he noticed a familar dragon selling herbs.

"Hmmm??? Wait.....could that be....no...." he thought doubtfully as he apporched the green dragoness.

Aura wandered for a bit, unsure of what to do. She looked up to see a massive castle...but sighed, knowing that she could never go near it, no matter what possition she was in. Or anything made of silver for that matter.

"Is that you Earthia?" Gravex called while the green dragoness turned her head to face him.

"Ah, heya Gravex. Looks like you're all big and strong. How was life with you??"

"Its been five years....where did you...."

"Long story short, now are you gonna buy anything or not?" the clerk dragoness Earthia said while showing him a row or herbs.

"....only if you tell me how things were with you..."

"Fine by me,"

Aura walked outside. She needed to be away from people for once. Thinking of what she was...it made her uncomfortable around people, no matter what she looked like. Now she kinda understood what Aurgal was going through.

After Gravex purchased a few herbs, he decided to exit the city and meet up with Aquares. He had to ask her what she needed incase if he had to venture in the city again.

Aura found herself at the edge of the water and staring at her reflection. Of anything that stood out, it was her golden eyes. They were not natural...since they were not intended to be. Both she and Aurgal were in fact...demons. She sighed again, thinking how life would have been differant if they wern't, obvlivous of anything around her.

Gravex searched for Aquares but couldn't find sight of her. Just when he was about to change course, he saw Aura staring at the water. He pondered on what she'd be doing out here without Aurgal when she was unconcious in the first place. He shrugged it off and approached Aura, but he didn't want to startled her so he just stood behind her a few feet away. However, he was unaware that she was oblivious of everything around her.

Aura kept looking into the water, unaware of Gravex standing there. After a few minutes, she got up...and walked directly into Gravex, which freaked her out and she hit him with her tail. "Oh...sorry." She appologized.

Gravex was hit, but he only smiled, assuring her he was fine. "No its alright, I probably shouldn't have stood there like a statue. But I thought it would be....rude to disrupt you from your thoughts...."

"Well...I was looking for Aquares to see if she needed anything so I'd go back and fetch somethings....but I don't see her anywhere and then I saw you....What are you doing here? Weren't you unconcoius and with Aurgal?" Gravex asked, perplexed.

"I woke up. Anyway, Aurgal is in surgery since he had a large metal pole embbeted in his shoulder that came out his back." Aura explained. "And I was just...thinking."

"Oh....hope Aurgal's surgery goes well and.... I see....well....I guess I should be leaving," Gravex said, though a part of him couldn't help but stare at her golden eyes... as if something usnusal was about them, but he would look at the ground or the river/ocean and pretend to search for Aquares.

"Oh. Well, like I mentioned before, I', searching for Aquares, where ever she is..." Gravex sighed, already scanning the ocean's horizon for Aquares' head. "But it could take ages...perhaps there's something else you've been planning on doing?"

Both dragons were unaware of Aquares listening, since she was underwater in the river, where neither of the two could see her.
