Ignitus: This is grave indeed... but, perhaps we should hear their side of this story first. We can't make a decision without knowing both sides of the situation, otherwise it wouldn't be fair judgment.

Blaze: *growls* All four of you are a bunch of fools! Don't you see that you're trying to control their lives!? You're practically making them your slaves, making them do whatever you tell them. It's their life, not yours, let them live it as they see fit! I swear... you do this, if you exile them... and you'll be just as bad as Malefor himself!

Blaze: Spyro and Cynder have given up most of their lives doing what you tell them to. They saved the world from Malefor, when he conquered the world. They've done so much for you, and all you do is keep taking from them. *glares at Ignitus* And don't think I haven't noticed similarities between you and Spyro, Ignitus. You two look incredibly similar, and you have similar personalities. Then again, like father, like son! Isn't that right, Ignitus!?

Blaze: Go ahead, tell them, Ignitus. Tell them how you broke the code yourself. *closes his eyes* The first laws, the laws that protect individual freedoms, supercede the apprentice laws. The guardians who formed those first laws made it so that they couldn't be changed, so as to protect the rights of everyone, and ensure that the guardians of the future wouldn't infringe upon their rights. Also... love, it will bring only happiness and benefit, it will not condemn, it will not distract.

Ignitus: *sighs and looks down at the ground* You truly are Eis' son... you have his powers of deduction. Yes, it's true... I am Spyro's father.

They saved you, when Malefor had conquered the world, they defeated Malefor together. Don't you think that they deserve to live their lives as they see fit, now that Malefor is gone!? The purple dragon code was set with a time limit, that time being when Malefor is defeated, once, and for all, and he has been defeated once and for all. Spyro is no longer your "tool," he is a person, just as all of us are! They are eighteen years of age, they are adults. They make their own decisions now, whether you like it or not!

Ignitus: *looks at Spyro, ashamed* I didn't tell you because... because the memories are too painful. Your mother... Breeze... was... abducted by Malefor's forces, after your egg was laid. We never saw her again, we have no idea what happened to her. I didn't want you to know because... it's my fault Breeze was abducted. We were out, together, one night, against the orders of our masters. And that's when it happened... that's when she was captured.

Ignitus: The original laws cannot be amended, the laws giving them freedoms. The guardians long before us established that they cannot be amended, or changed. It's a safety precaution... and it's set in stone, protected by magic. *sighs* Spyro... Cynder... I would be happy to give you all the freedoms that are entitled to you, but that is not my decision alone. It must be a unanimous decision, with the others agreeing as well.
