Ignitus: Three long years.....yet I have heard nothing of Spyro nor Cynder. But I can tell they did not die when the Mountain of Malefor collapsed. No, their alive, the question is, where......

OFF: Spyrorox... your post make no sense. As you can see from the intro, this take place BEFORE the end of DotD... this means that Spyro and Cynder have just been freed and that Malefor is still very much alive and kicking.

During this time, at the ruins of the Temple of Souls, Mt.Malefor...

"Why didn't he just order us to kill them? They might not be frozen anymore!" whined one of the many grotesque green creatures that was following the taller, horned one.

Necronimax was an arch-demon, an ancient creature from the depths of the Dark Realm. As one of the senior members of the Dark Armies, he had served the cause under many purple dragons, joining way before Malefor was born and now, once more, he had emerged to help the current Dark Master fulfill the prophecy of doom as he always had done in the past.

Still, the lowly Grublins that served as his (mostly unnecessary) escort were making a point.

Although Malefor had, understandably, ordered all of his troops to kill Spyro, his successor, on sight, he had also issued a peculiar order: Cynder had to be brought back to him, in one piece and still breathing if possible.

This had been a source of great frustration as it prevented a full-scale operation to wipe out the rebellious purple dragon. The dragons were near-extinct and their allies, on their last leg! Sure, the revival process was successfully completed anyway and Spyro's interventions were, ultimately, unimportant in the grand scheme of things.

Still, it troubled the demonic being that Malefor would go to such lengths to recover one dragoness.

Bah! Malefor is nothing but one more unwilling puppet serving the interests of the almighty Destroyer, the immortal embodiment of all anger and destruction. As long as that purple idiot complete the summoning ritual and resurrect the proper, true ruler of darkness, whatever Malefor thinks and do is of little importance. Not like he could do anything to change his fate ; he's way too corrupted by now to break free of their control over him. His only hope of redemption is death... not that he'll get that chance before this miserable little rock of a planet is turned into a nova.

"Lord Necronimax! We have arrived!"

Ha! At long last!

The gigantic demon approached the resting place of the dragons. A wicked smirk came to him as he anticipated the end of the dragons. The time had come to make Spyro regret he ever turned his back upon his fate.

But rather than the faint glow of a yellow Spirit Gem, Necronimax's eyes saw only darkness. There were traces that a Spirit Gem was once located here but... obviously, it was now gone. There were no shards anywhere either, showing that it hadn't been shattered...

"What? Where are the dragons! Where are they?" yelled the demon at the top of his lungs, the ruins shaking as his voice echoed accross the remains of Mt.Malefor.

"P-please lord! We have no idea! They should be here!" begged the small green goblin-like creature, dropping its small club as it brought its tiny limbs upward to shield its face.

Likewise, all of the other Grublins scratched their heads in confusion. Didn't Spyro unleash the power of time freezing within Mt.Malefor? Then... why isn't he trapped here?

"Hmph! What a waste of time! Troops, search the area for any traces of the purple dragon! I... will go back and report to Malefor." said the arch-demon as he turned around.

As the Grublins begun to scamper, the demonic creature smirked to himself. So, it seemed someone had found the purple dragon first and moved him elsewhere...

No matter! No one can escape the Dark Armies. They will find Spyro and Cynder and in time, inflict a horrible fate upon the both of them.

And well... the elderly abomination had a good idea of where to start looking...

OFF: Hmmm... this is a bit confusing.

I think that the main setting should have been clarified. A minimum number of words/lines should also be established to keep the level of details high enough so that people don't get too confused.

Now for a question... are Spyro and Cynder still in the Dragon Realm or were they transported to another Realm entirely?
