Re: Favorite place in dotd!
I love Avalar! And the Enchanted Forest... Hmm.. and floating islands! I don't particularly like Dragon City though... Still it can be good in some areas.

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
I'll take wide open areas against a city anyday .....hence why I love living way out in the wilderness as opposed to near a city.

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
Well I didn't mean after DotD really....it would have been nice if that's what the game was like...but even so their is going to be a whole new world now....so why not be able to explore all of it eh.

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
Exploring the entire world? Ugh that sounds like a pain in the rear to code. But if someone can pull it off, then god speed to them and I will love to do that too. Also some underwater levels wouldn't hurt either :-P ... hmm even an air level would be pretty cool, or an underground level....

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
Back on topic anyways....Twilight Falls looked very good in PS3...all the levels in general did...but the nighttime feel was absolutely stunning.

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
Well that just ties back to why games were created to begin with...to take us somewhere that we could jump into and be apart of....something to take our minds out of the real world and into another full of adventure and experience....that's one of the joys that I'm sure gaming has brought to all of us.
The more detailed it is....the more I can imagine it being real....and the more satisfied my imagination is...pretty simple. But it certainly helps when stress is a prime factor in your life.

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
You should have been able to explore the whole city and interact with residents and such.....not just be limited to a wartime environment....

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
Yeah that does tie into sidequests and some kind of interaction that involves other characters...exploring a much larger world. That would have been some great additions to the game...

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
Just need more development. If they want to attract some more of the fans back to the series they need to include some more attractive elements to the gameplay. Something that can seriously help bring the fanbase back together...but that's not gonna happen most likely...

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
It would mean more effort and time and money spent for them to do that sort of thing.

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
Well if they ever had a complete team that was in it for the overall benefit of making Spyro look good and appealing maybe things would be different...but it's hard to find anything like that now in today's market.....everything revolves around titles and money.

Yeah, escially whats going on with the economy, they just want to get the game done at a resonable level of making it and sell it.

Re: Favorite place in dotd!
Hey my favorite place is the Valley of Avalar like a lot of people I see. My reason is because the awsome music, the cool scenery and the fact that you have a lot of room to just fly around.
