I would like some more in depth history on the characters...because they really need to expand things if they want this to keep going strong.

yeh bt 2 b honest there is another point of view perhaps they did it deliberately so it would b easier 4 people to do fan fics?

Perhaps...they did say that they would pop into the Spyro fanfiction section to check on some of the works...but I highly doubt they have been paying that much attention.

EVERY franchise will go into "milking" eventually. The reason theyre implementing new ideas in the few first games is that they do not know what sells well. This occurs even faster when dev changes... i cant name any game series with over 5 sequels made by only one dev...

I personally think that remaking the series was a pretty good pull from Sierra. They also managed to take some parts of spyro's older fandom with them. We all know how spyro's popularity started to go down after ETD and ATH...

I will approve if they continue tlos though i would also like to see a more original style spyro in the future.

well as long as its successful and it keeps spyro going im happy as i like both classic spyro and new spyro they r both good and yeh ur right it did start to go down in popularity during ETD and AHT as spyro would been killed off after SL bt thx to TLOS series spyro is still goind which is a main reaosn y i like TLOS series as well

Well of course I'd like everyone to get along, but this doesn't mean that everyone has to agree with me and like the new series. It would be dull if everyone shared the same opinion, yes.
I think personally, since I like both series', it would be really good if Sierra and Insomniac teamed up so that they could meet the fans of both new and old Spyro half way. But I don't imagine it'll ever happen which is a shame.
But yeah, just my opinion.

I don't know how to start a petition, and I don't think it would work cause alot of people have been saying Sierra got bought out by Activision Blizzard

Ha.....ha.....ha.....as much as I share that enthusiasm I highly doubt that Insomniac would be in any rush to get back to anything involving Spyro lol.....and I seriously can't see Sierra really wanting to let someone into the fold anyways.....but yeah we can always dream.

They have absolutely no reason to do it...therefore what will they gain if they do?...Unfortunetely I don't think they will really go through all of that work just to please a small deal of fans. It's something Sierra has no time or no motivation to do.

Or what they consider most which is money. Im going to go with continuing the story after DOTD, which is what is most likely going to happen cause they cant just start on a completely different unrealeted one.

Yes that was the basic point of my whole post. They have no desire to make something different when their money and ideas are already going in the direction the want. They are not going to pull a 180 and do the opposite.
