An aeriel fight in the console versions would be awesome big_smile I think the closest we're going to get is the bosses in the DS version of A New Beginning, where Spyro takes to the air and combats his enemies in a 3D environment, shooting while not touching the ground. I thought that was really cool big_smile

Re: Spyro flying more

Well I can safely assume that in the Legend arc, Spyro is starting to gain a stronger position as a flyer. I'm with you on wanting to see the concept expand for the next few console titles.

yeh that, i think if you could conrol: Ember,Flame,Elora,Moneybags, Red, Ripto, Cynder, Sparx, Spyro,Bianca,Hunter, Blink, Agent 9, Sheila,

Ignitus, Cyrill, Terrador, Volteer, Kane, Sgnt,Bird, and all of them, it would be the best spyro game!

Re: Spyro flying more

Maybe for multiplayer purposes that can happen, but for an action game I don't know if it will work. First you need to adapt to the control schemes of the characters in question, and for twenty-plus characters that's really overwhelming. Secondly, though Spyro seemed to do okay in the multi-character department, there are some franchises that would see the addition of many playable characters as a downgrade to the general gameplay (e.g. some of the 3D Sonic games). Finally, it's a Spyro game, so it has to have more time focusing on said purple dragon than reducing his on-screen time in the favor of playing other characters. I'd be fine with less than six characters to play in any one game (Year of the Dragon has seven but I don't think the Sparx and Hunter stages count) but any more could make things really frustrating on the player.

Re: Spyro flying more

I meant oneplayer , and pick your fave charatcer in the main menu, but you have to unlock other charatcers, the only free one you can play without unlocking one is spyro. and there will be a arena for a two-4 player to fight.

Re: Spyro flying more

Again, for an action game (or "one player" as you call it) is not going to work. Please re-read my reasons again.

Re: Spyro flying more

Flying in ANB wasn't that fun because you didn't get to control him all that much... kinda generic. hmm

Re: Spyro flying more

Hmm wel maybe soemone else will agree to it, but of course it has to be fun to fly and defeat a boss at the same time. How about obstacles to it.
