Arus looked over the ruins carefully. The trail of smoke twirled upwards into the cloudy sky, but he couldn't really make out just where it was coming from.

"Well...I don't know about you two but I really think that we should be moving AWAY from the explosions. Unless one of you knows something I don't...."

Zyrnoth landed where the explosion was as a figure walked towards him. It was a male dragon with a shackle chained to his right forearm, as if he had just escaped some sort of dungeon. As there was dust, Zyrnoth couldn't see the figure that well until he was less than five feet away. The dragon had silver scales, golden horns, and amber eyes. Also, some sort of dark aura fell on him, giving him some sort of ragged apperance.

"Well, if it isn't my other side..." the dragon spoke as a smirk appeared on his face. "You even have my looks!" He said sarcastically.

"What are you talking about?" Zyrnoth responded as the other dragon chuckled darkly.

"You'll find out sooner or later. But first, let's see what you can do...I've rigged this entire area to detonate in fifteen minutes." Zyrnoth blinked in surpise as the dragon continued, "Oh, and don't think of just flying out of the city...I'll just blow it up. Have fun with Krucifi!" he laughed as he vanished.

Arus watched the scene from above. Yet another Dragon? This one was much larger then Zyrnoth was...most likely bigger then he was.

"Please tell me he didn't say what I think he said.......and better yet who the hell was that? I'm getting sick of these random insane wolves and dragons popping up."

"...For some reason, he looks familar to me." Zyrnoth responded as his head suddenly hurt. "And yes, he is going to detonate this city. From the explosion of his arrival...I'd say he could do more."

Arus spun his head in an dazed manner. "Well....I guess that's reality telling us to get the HELL out of here. Everyone quickly....follow me!"

The black dragon took off down one of the paved streets. Fifteen minutes would be cutting it close....but he knew they could make it if they all quickened themselves.

Having said nothing for the past few minutes, Lance thought it was time to talk, "AND JUST WHO THE HELL ARE ALL THESE... THINGS?" Lance shouted, "Can we have peace for at least twenty minutes without one of your 'Friends' appearing?"

"Leave him be....if doesn't seem to know who he was so he's just as clueless as we are. All that matters is getting out of this hellhole before things decide to blow up. Now keep up!" shouted Arus as he rounded another corner. The northern exit to the city was about 100 meters ahead of him. At least he was hoping that his memory was correct.

A large barrier of darkness appeared in front of them as an insane laughter could be heard, "Not that quickly..." Krucifi yelled.

"My point in case," Lance shouted as he changed direction, turning down a side street. "Why can't they just leave us alone?", Lance reached forward with his mind, searching the surrounding area, but finding nothing but rats, and the other dragons, "Where is this wolf you speak of anyway? He is either using that dark magic to protect his mind, or he has no soul. Either would be bad enough..."

Petalance crouched and growled in the direction she thought Krucifi's voice had come from, something she very rarely did and the move surprised even her; she'd done it without thinking. But she wasn't sorry that that was the reaction she had given. Subconciously she also retreated back a little bit so she was standing level with Arus and Zyrnoth, she leaned over to Zyrnoth and mumbled to him:

"Is there any way to actually hit him? I fired an earth bullet at him back in the cave but it did nothing.... Though on saying that, we have to actually find him first...."

"Their is no other way out but forward guys. It looks like we're gonna have to go through him. But yeah.....none of my attacks had any affect on him back in the cave either. Looks like we're gonna have to really work together on this one....." spoke Arus before cracking his neck.

Petalance didn't stop looking around to see where Krucifi was, but she was still listening.

"What's the plan then Arus? Krucifi seems to be after Zyrnoth more than any of the rest of us.... I hate to say this, but could we use that to our advantage and flush him out so the rest of us can aim some attacks at his weak point?"

Arus looked over at her slightly. He did hate to do such things, but it seemed that they didn't have any other option. "Sounds like it might work so long as Zyrnoth is ok with it. I never want to sacrifice someone without permission of course..."

Arus then turned his head towards Zyrnoth. "Well....what do you think?"

Arus kept any emotions to himself. Now was not the time for such things. He looked over at Petalance. "First chance you get go for it.....we don't have a lot of time here....and we can't have Zyrnoth getting too hurt."

The black dragon crouched down and prepared himself. He had the feeling this was going to be one hell of an encounter.

A black shadow formed over Zyrnoth as a black shape dive-bombed him, forcing him to the ground with a large SNAP.

"Zyrnoth!" shouted Arus as he ran towards the wounded dragon. That wolf moved quicker then he imagined. The younger dragon looked to be in bad shape.

Zyrnoth's front right leg was bent in a bad angle and his right wing was lop-sided. "*bleep*...he's stronger than he was before." He gasped through pain as the shadow formed a wolf-like body a few feet away.
