How did you make that GIF that says "YAMS"?

it's somebody's avatar on here. i think they said they took recordings of the letters moving and just put them side-by-side. i'm not really sure how to do that, but i guess it wouldn't be that hard, since i see a lot of people doing similar things with GIF files.

Grab any animating software (I like Adobe Flash since I got a VALID code from my friends dad who used the Adobe suite) and some are easier to use than others and generally have a lot of effects like the YAMS one. smile

I don't know if this will help anyone, but recently I made a vector of the Spyro logo with the Lithos Pro font to use on the beta site. I thought the font would be exactly like the logo, but it turns out the graphic designers who originally created the logo must've messed with it a bit, so the shapes of the letters turned out to be slightly different, especially the letter "Y."

by the way, Lithos Pro isn't the exact same font as the one used in-game, either; it's just really similar. i'm *guessing* it's some variation of the Lithos font, but i haven't found it.

Usually large studios make their fonts in-house, and not for anyone else to use.

Not sure if Insomniac would qualify for "large studio" status, especially not back when they were making Spyro. tongue

The menu font in StD is definitely very close to Lithos Pro, and I'm almost positive the logo is just a tweaked version of it.
