A Newbies Board?
Hey! I'm a Newbie. You can call me Deity Ditto though. ^.=.^ I was thinking that maybe there can be a Board where New members can introduce themselves to others. What do you think?

Re: A Newbies Board?
I don't think its necessary, newbies seem to make friends and blend in with the whole forum very quickly.
A quick post in the intro's thread in general chat is, if it is even at all, needed.

Re: A Newbies Board?
If the spyroforum site was more complex and involved people asking a lot of common questions, a newbie board wouldn't be so bad. However, this site is mainly just for chatting here and there, so a newbie board isn't necessary. As Spyrorocks said, just post in the introductions thread.

Re: A Newbies Board?
It would be helpful but think about it the forums members blend in the crowd extremely quickly as of late so really (maybe when the forum really gets popular like 5000 or so members) it's not really needed.
Plus if new members need help and want to say hi and stuff we have the Site Help/User feedback forum, general chat topic intorductions and of course the spam forum.
I personally see the newbie board as a future idea, it's not really a needed board at the moment since well you know

Re: A Newbies Board?
You can welcome the new users in their guestbook-that is what someone did for me.

Re: A Newbies Board?
I personally would not use a Newbie board myself, but some people may like it and I do not think that it will hurt to give it a shot.
