Suggestion
I've been noticing a lot of newer members introducing themselves outside of the "Intro" topic. I may have a solution.
When you are a guest, a message comes up. "Welcome to SpyroForums! You are currently viewing this board as a guest...etc."
Isn't there a way to keep that screen up for at least 10 posts? You could add, "If you want to introduce yourself, please refer them to the Introduction topic and provide a link."
This could give new members a chance to see the notification before they really get into posting a lot.
Just an idea.

Re: Suggestion
Yeah. I really don't even see the point in having an introduction thread if no one uses it. I support all the way.

Re: Suggestion
That would probably work. I don't want you to go out of your way to do it though. Exspecially with your project going on.

Re: Suggestion
This would help greatly as it should reduce the amount of created topics from new members introducing themselves.
But another idea for this is to create and introductions board which has the post count and gems count disabled.

Re: Suggestion
I don't think a full out intros board is necessary.

Re: Suggestion
Maybe you should read the group info page and not post in irrelevant threads.

Re: Suggestion
Why not put up a section for appreciation of the administrators for those who want to bring up topics that say how much good the administrators are doing. I think that not only will this free up space for other things but it will be encouragement for the administrators. If they are a little down than they can come to it and give them selfs every reason why they are here in the first place. It will be good for them to see comments come from us members.
I would send a lot of pm's but I limit myself to things that are of importance other wise I look to see if they have a deviant art account. So that way they can come to it instead of it popping up every now and then. I am not against it myself but I think it would be a good idea. I like to talk to others. Like i always say feel free to pm. How about this all the administrators put in a group so that members can comment or congratulate them on their achievement.
Fell in love with Spyro when I was little. I played it with my friends. They went different ways over time and I refused to let this go. I am seventeen and still enjoy playing the old games as well as the new. Game makers are of their own and I have no reason to disagree because they made it perfect
