Why ban the young
I think it is not a good idea. I am seventeen and thing that it would be nice to have them around for i think the one thing they are good for is imagination. They may not be creative but are imaginative none the less.
So what if they repeat the Decalogue to the games? Is this not a fan forum? I think some of my favorite books are from the point of view of kids. It makes my imagination run wild. When kids do get board they are not hesitant to say it and not hesitant to say many things. Is this not where we say that this is just typical for their age.
If any one younger than eleven are not allowed or the existing ones are banned then they are just going to be lying about their age like many who are on deviant art. A couple have admitted to it. I will not mention any names and prefer others to not either.
Don't get me wrong for i have a sister that is three years old and is annoying to be around. They want a lot of attention. It is not really a bad thing. Even teens close to my age want attention but would not say a word but would sit at your lunch table everyday. Or should i say every other day since my high school has black and gold days. Which is the color of our sports.
What is a fan forum without some one to repeat some of their favorite lines? I have a lot of lines that i have memorized that help me when i am not happy. I think my favorite is "You are a purple dragon. a very special creature." I can bring up a lot of bible memory verses over that one but I won't unless some one asks me to for I prefer to ovoid getting into another argument.
Fell in love with Spyro when I was little. I played it with my friends. They went different ways over time and I refused to let this go. I am seventeen and still enjoy playing the old games as well as the new. Game makers are of their own and I have no reason to disagree because they made it perfect

Re: Why ban the young
Age doesn't matter. Being on a forum is a privilege.

Re: Why ban the young
i feel like starting a new topic called
Why post this topic?
where has it been said that there is going to be an age limit on this forum? SR himself is 11 i think? and realistically, if your under age 10 or maybe 9 if youre stretching it, this really isnt the place for you, but i still didnt know that any ages were being restricted from the forums
i know the idea has been mentioned elsewhere but ive heard no confirmation regarding that rule being enforced

Re: Why ban the young
I believe that proposal was raised because a couple of younger people were talking irrationally, unintelligently and immaturely (and spamming?) on SpyroChat. But there are younger people who do act mature and intelligent for their age, Aicebo being an example I suppose, and so Spyrorocks has decided on closer moderation instead of an age limit, as DDR Maniac said in the thread that you linked to.

Re: Why ban the young
Why ban all of them. Make a new rule or something but banning them just because they annoy you is the wrong reason. I was pretty crazy when i was their age, it is just typical at their age.
give me a good reason why you would ban every one of them.

Re: Why ban the young
I do not believe in an age limit. Why should the many be punished for the actions of a few?

Re: Why ban the young
It wouldn't be fair to some people if that was to happen but really I have no idea what else to put or then this.

Re: Why ban the young
This thread really has no basis...
No one has been banned because of their age.
I do not discriminate based on age, sex, race, or sexual orientation. This thread makes no sense... you just suddenly came out and said some stuff about people being banned for their age? That has never happened. People are banned for their actions.
