IP banned due to suspected proxy activity?

Ok, I am just informing you guys about some message I got. I was about to post on the forums when I got a message saying that my IP was banned due to suspected proxy activity.

Now this is strange, because about 5 minutes later it disappeared, so I was back on the forums, and I don't know what a proxy is (not very good on networking here) so I don't think I did anything wrong.

Ok, here is an update...

Now whenever I load a page on the forums, there is a message. It is on the top of the page and is in a big purple box:

I'm tweaking a new system I just coded for more proxy protection. Hold tight while i work out the bugs.

I had the same thing, I sent an email to SR after it started giving me that...but I pmed him about it too, now I know what it is.
