Chapter 9: Portents

Alexi was asleep, he had Tanya on his mind, no doubt she had him on her mind. His peaceful slumber was disturbed by vile visions of a growing army, hideous demonic figures, a satanic cult and Leo! The Oracle's calming voice solaced him.

"Alexi, while you sleep, Leo gathers and expands his forces. He has found a cult that can resurrect the dead, they are dangerous and are planning on bringing back you're worst enemy."

"Belziel(Bahl-zshahl)." he murmured

"Caution is advised, young one. Keep an eye on your love, she's in grave danger."

"No!"

"Goodbye."

"TANYA!" he shouted as he woke up.

This put the MDs into a tizzy, they jumped from their desks and did tests, much to Alexi's dismay. The next morning he walked out looking like death warmed up. Tanya ran up to him.

"Hey Alexi, what's wrong?"

"I had a terrible nightmare. Then I woke up the MDs and they did tests, disturbing tests."

"That's horrible."

"Yeah, the rectal exam and 12 sipositories were rather unorthodox."

"Ouch, you wanna get some breakfast?"

"Sure, it's our day off, we can go where ever. You choose."

As they were walking he looked at the wall and saw an inverted pentram drawn in blood which disappeared. He looked in front of him and there was a man in a black robe holding a bloody knife.

"What is it?"

"Nothing."

They found a nice place to dine, he had to get used to sitting without a chair. The food was nice but the sight of blood on his toast put him off slightly, but he ate it anyway. Later they went back to the dorm.

"Alexi, do you love me?"

Alexi went red.

"Uhh........"

"Yes, no, maybe?"

"Yeah?" he went redder.

Tanya went the same colour.

She moved and kissed his cheek, he held her head against his. A few hours of making out lead to making....................................rope ladders(seriously kids, nothing to see here). Lurker was listening at the door.

"What are you doing?" asked Nightshade,

"You gotta hear this."

He put his ear on the door and heard <censored> noises.

"It's even better when you look through the keyhole."

Nightshade grabbed his brother by the back of the neck and dragged him off.

"Lurker, you are a pervert, I'm taking you to the psychiatrist so that you can have an enima."

"NOT THE ENIMA PLEASE!"

The next morning, Alexi woke up grinning like a Cheshire cat. Tanya and him were together, and they will be together forever. But he was still haunted by those portents, but he saw a caged Tanya being prepped for sacrifice. He held her close.

<Please, be careful, I don't want to lose you.>

He called the Oracle.

"Yes?"

"Can I save her?"

"I can't tell you your future, you have to discover it for yourself."

"But is it possible for me to save her?"

"It is, but you just have to be strong. She's too special to lose."

"Thank you."

She disappeared.

<D@mn you Leo, this is going too far, it's now or never. You will die!>

Chapter 10: Devil man part 1

Alexi took heed of the Oracle's words and kept an eye on Tanya, this made her uncomfortable in a way. When she asked him about it, he couldn't find the words to explain. He couldn't get the images of Leo's growing army out of his head, he was haunted by these vision, he couldn't sleep at night anymore. The days went by quickly but still nothing from the Oracle, the visions ceased but this only put him in a state of turmoil, he was afraid that Leo's army was completed and was on their way. Alexi was losing his mind.

"Are you alright Alexi?" asked Tanya

"No,. The vision came and now. D@mn it!"

"Just relax, I guess the Oracle is just giving you break."

"No, it's not like her to-"

He was interrupted by a huge explosion.

"They're here!"

He heard another come, he dived on top of Tanya and he took the brunt of the blast.

"Alexi?"

He said nothing.

"Alexi!"

He was limp. Tanya started to panic.

"Not now, not now!"

Suddenly he started to twitch, sparks jumped from his fingers.

"Stay here, Tanya, there's something I have to do."

His voice sounded different, it was deeper than usual.

"Alexi?"

"Don't leave this room."

He ran out the door.

"Wait!"

He was gone. This worried her, he ran to the courtyard, there were soldiers laying waste to the grounds. He drew the Blades of War and made short work of them, he felt something he never felt before, an insatiable blood lust. He made his way to where the army had gathered. He looked at his blades.

"These won't cut it."

He sheathed them and summond the Drakesword.

"Ah yes, this will do nicely."

He jumped with his sword held high and landed in the middle of the battlefield. He began to mecilessly slaughter the demons, he felt a growing sense of pleasure, something he never felt after he killed. Leo watched from afar.

"Yes Alexi, embrace what you are. A devil!"

His eyes glowed red and black and red scales covered his arms, his face went grey and his voice was multitone. Alexi was indeed, a devil. The army fell like rain.

"Who is that?" asked Spyro

Cynder went to see.

"That's Alexi! He looks....different."

"Out of my way!" shouted Tanya

Nothing prepared her for what she was about to see. She was overcome by shock at the sight of Alexi. Afterwards the army lay dead around Alexi. He jumped up to join the others. They stepped back, he sheathed the Drakesword.

"what's the matter? Never seen a devil before?" he said with a sly grin.

Tanya's eyes filled with tears.

"Alexi?"

He looked at her and scoffed.

"What have you become?" asked Spyro

"I have become stronger. I could get used to this."

"No. You've become a monster!" shouted Tanya,

This awoke something inside him.

"Tanya?"

"Leave, don't ever come back!"

Alexi eventually came to grips with reality but it was too late. The damaged was done.

Leo is Alexi's brother. They hate each other, like in DMC3 with Dante and Vergil.
