Inferno: *sees the thief, charges and rams him causing him to flop and disappear like in Spyro 1, he then picks up the bag of gems and walks back to Siegfried* "These yours?"

Siegfried: *walks over to Moneybags to try and buy more arrows, but is shocked when he hears how much Moneybags is charging for each arrow* 200 gems for each arrow!? That's double the price from last week! I can't afford that! *storms away*

"Understood. Thanks for the help sir, but..." Luke took Ripple and hoisted him onto his back. ..."I'll carry him for the rest of the way. Ripple?"

"Yeah?"

"Could you get my wallet for me? It's nestled in my tail feathers."

"Okay...Here you go."

"Thanks." Luke pulled a few yellow gems from his wallet and put them on the floor.

"Here's a few gems for your trouble. Thanks for the help, bye." Luke said walking off.

"Bye!" Ripple said, waving with his fin.

Leaving Inferno behind, Luke and Ripple soon reached the portal to Harbour speedway. Luke had stopped for a rest from carring Ripple, who was lying on the floor beside him.

"So, do you have any idea who's participating in this race?" Ripple asked.

"Not really, but I doubt anyone special is competing. It isn't excatly a high key event."

"I see. Do you think you can win?"

"...Yeah, maybe. I have been practcing."

"Well I hope you do win. I'd take part myself, but I have no way of flying."

"Hmm...I think I remember hearing someone say that they were holding a swimming race as well."

"Really? Do you think I could take part?"

"I don't see why not."

"Cool. Okay, are we ready to go?"

Luke picked Ripple up.

"Yeah. Let's go."

Thanks to the protals magic, Luke and Ripple soon found themselves at Harbour Speedway. They were now standing in the line for the race regeistration, along with a wide variety of creatures of all shapes and sizes.

"Okay, we shoudn't be too far from the end of the line now." Luke said, craning his head to see over the heads of the other people in line.

"Hey Luke, best of luck to you in your race." Ripple said.

"Thanks, you too."

A little bit later, they got to the front and registered for thier respective races. The flying race came first, so it wasn't long before Luke was waiting at the start line. Ripple had found a good spot in the ocean to watch from.

"Hello ladies and gentalmen," The commentator's voice boomed out. "and welcome to the Harbour speedway flying competition! It's a beautiful day for a race, and I see that we have a wide variety of contestents today.

But only one person will be able to take home the 5000 gem grand prize. Who will it be I wonder? Let's find out. I- hang on everyone, I've just been informed that we have a late entrant, and to be honest, he's pretty special."

An excited murmor went out through the crowd. Ripple started wondering who the contest could be, and why he was so special, when he was inturupted by a small, buzzing voice.

"Hello, are you here to watch the race?"

Ripple turned to see a golden dragonfly hovering beside him.

"Well, one of my friends is taking part in the race, then I'm gonna take part in the swimming race. Is one of your friends taking part in the race?"

"Yeah actully. Who's your friend?"

"Well, he's the rainbow coloured bird."

"Oh yeah! I saw him on the way over here. He's pretty spectacular looking."

"Yeah, that's what I thought. Who's your friend?"

"Well, he's pretty famous, you should know him when you see him."

"Okay. Hmm...You look familiar, have we met before?"

"Yeah, I think I know you from somewhere too, but I can't quite place where..."

"And now everyone, coming to us from the Dragon realms-"

"Dragon realms?" Luke said to himself.

"-Please give a warm welcome to-"

Someone landed next to Luke. Someone purple.

"SPYRO!"

The crowd went wild, the contestents went balistic, Ripple and Sparx relised who they both were and Luke relised he had his work cut out for him.

Knowing the locals, they're probably being attacked right now. *walks through the portal and sees Crystal* YOU! I know you, you're one of Ripto's lackeys.
