User Threads

I just think it would be cool if there was a forum where you can make a self-titled thread of your own... I've seen this done before, and I absolutely loved the feature. It would be great for rants and just something you want to say really quickly but not really have a discussion about it.

Re: User Threads

it sounds like a good idea, which is why i voted yes, but as Brom pointed out [and this never occurred to me] it's the same thing as a blog.

Re: User Threads

I don't see why you can't make a thread that you title...

Re: User Threads

Well, on another forum I go on, all the staff members get threads where users can just ask them questions.... They also had an interview thread users signed up to be featured for a couple days and members asked them questions there... but that's not really the same thing as what you're talking about.

If you want to make a thread like what you described, you could always make one in SPAM. Otherwise threads like this have pretty high potential for spam and post count abuse.
