Are there anymore secrets to this game?

I have been noticing alot of cut/ moved items in the game.

The Midnight Mountain Tower:

And I'm wondering this for awhile, could anybody get a hold to one of the developers and tell what else has been cut? This questions been haunting me about a year. :S

There is the hidden room in Midday Gardens.
Inside the room with the hot air balloon/or whatever, there is a wall that clearly shows a door, but it's just a texture. If you use the swim in the air glitch and look down at the room with the balloon, you can see another room next to it. The room is invisible if you're too close, so you wont be able to see any of the textures in it.
I wonder what was supposed to be in thereO.o

I got superflame, then I tried to shoot the hidden room. The fireball hit the "door" and my game freezed:

The extra egg and fireworks secret room one, that's awesome! I don't use gameshark but it's pretty interesting watching. big_smile
I've done the Dino Mines one, and I reckon that it was going to be a sleepyhead like one, because you go home when you go to the middle.
Just a theory.

Yes. There is mini bos in summer forest (metal shark), midday gardens (sleepy head), evening lake (dragons), but nothing in midnight mountain.

So that's what it's inside -- something that cut out from the game! it's empty, but the remains of the evidence remains. Dang. I actually tried using the superflame powerup to break it when I tried to find the last egg, no luck.

Although technically secrets, I think it's best to call them "beta elements". These pieces of evidence can be revealed through hacking the whole game itself, and by looking at the game files. These are leftovers that Isomanic tried to add but were either unfinished or cut out for unknown reasons -- maybe timing reasons, a technical error within the production of creating CDs, copy protection that might interfere with the game, etc. But... one thing, are the videos of the showing glitches and beta elements came from the original version or the Greatest Hits version?

Hmm. I am pretty sure tehy are in both... I remember back when I HAD a "legal" copy that was on Greatest Hits... well story time... Over in Dino Mines and being young mix well... So I jumped (Or turned the camera... Been 6 or 7 years forgive me) and saw the silly portal thing leading to the secret area...

Now I did go to this area on a ORIGINAL version of this game (Well the "hacked" copy I just have to have) and never did get spit out opon going to the center... I STOOD there for about 15 minutes... Finally just hit start and went down to 'EXIT AREA'. Well I regret... exiting that area == suicide for Spyro. You might as well just poof your dragon bottom out instead of gliding back to the land you should be on. ^^

My thoughts are that the wall infront of the area was going to be smashable and a bridge was going to be behind it... Perhaps the "Christmas" Dino you see in the Agent 9 FPS in DM was going to be the boss. Perhaps they changed it to a SP because they did not have a challenge idea for another SP. We all note there are 4 SP PER World?

Personally. I thought it would have been exciting if they had a egg there. Woot 151 eggs. Then again... it would probably pop to be a dragon with no colours that would end up being a PURE white frame that stares and makes your game stick at it til you reboot...

@ Agent 9's Secret Egg.
That must be the egg you get after smashing all the boats. I just find it really illogical to have a egg just SITTING there without a use. I notice everything in this game GOES somewhere. NOT just poof- there. Proof of concept- Swim in the air in Dino Mines... The smashed wall goes underneath the main land. tongue

@Area in Fireworks Factory (<3) and Midnight Mountain...
Really those are probably there was a reward for those people who love to hack. (Or are very clever and can get there without hacking)... Imo you should get 99 lives just for getting to the MM Island or FF Cave. oO
Or perhaps they were forgotten? Perhaps the MM Island was there as a taunter or something to be part of the backround... It could have been an area you were supposed to Fly to Via Fly Powerup. Possabilities are endless and Insomniac is full of questions.

But really. I think the Cave and Island are really things to make players ask questions...

It is not that hard to get to the secret room in FF.
And you can get to the egg that is at the end of the minigame in Seashell Shore (turbo cave), but you cant hatch it hmm

Do explain. I always have a heck of a time trying to get that proxy jump to work there. I notice turning in the videos... But they do not say if you need to jump or what. *makes a strange sound* I guess I am completely skillless at the jump or something because I have spent a total of a hour just trying different things. Gave up and booted up the Gameshark... -_-'

To do the proxy jump, don't jump with X, just turn left and right, and try to stay centered.

Just yesterday, I found an extra gem in Fireworks Factory. I do not remember where exactly. All I know that I have (correction, had) 601/600 gems in that level. I found that out when I went through the Agent 9 challenge. Why Insomniac put an extra gem there, I have no idea.

Then, today I loaded up the game to show a screenshot on this thread and the extra gem was gone from Spyro's inventory. Obscure or what?
