The film has been chanceled soo...do you think its good or bad?

IMO im glad the film looked horrid

but in the sence of "goody now we can get a new game" im not botherd im not intrested in getting anover spyro game.

And a new game... I dunno. I wanna have it for sure, but I really don't know what will be done. IMO, I think they won't do anything with Spyro anymore and just let him pass away. Not that I like that...

He just needs to be revived in a good way. EtD was way worse than YotD, but if they would continue with something like that it'd be better imo than another silly LoS. All those new chars were fatal. I want Avalar back.

Mah IMO he can't get back to where he once was it was fun whilst it lasted but...every thing has its time :3. And i do agree with TLOS they ruind cynder beyond repair in DOTDthe guardiuns are..pointless now, and as for spyro well he's not cute anymore he was cute when he had personallity that was badass.

Why do I get the feeling that the movie was cancelled cause old skool Spyro fans just woulden't stop whining and complaining?

If that honestly is the case then; Thanks old skool Spyro fans for ruining it for those who actually WANTED to see the movie.

Seriously, some guy sent me a message saying that he'd kill me if no more Spyro games game out. That's how retarded some fans are.

For your information, the merge between Activision and Blizzard caused some problems and they ran out of funding.

Trust me, I've been with this fandom since before LoS came out. There weren't always so many fantards. Plus, if it hadn't come out in the first place, there wouldn't be all the arguing and fandom wars you hate so much. Regardless of how you feel about the quality of the games, it's true that the release of the LoS games has not helped the fandom in any way.

Also, we have the right to complain if we want to, just like you do. The "old skool" fans you're complaining about don't like the direction the series is going, and they want to do something about it. How are the developers supposed to know what the fans want if the ones who are unhappy don't say anything? You might want to keep it going in the current direction, but what makes your opinion more worthwhile or valid than anyone else's? Please stop being belligerent and trying to silence people who don't agree with you.

Serria took there idear and put theminto DOTd to make them happy, and what was DOTD? an abomination to a majority of people or to others just..."Mah..." that just shows when they used fandom it flopped when they did what they wanted it was a good game.

And also do you see uncharted Fandom? or God of war fandom? I see fanart and stuff with is fine but what dose my head in (and quite alot of folks heads in) is the story fandom of cynder killing ember or how ember trys it onwith spyro so he burnt her ECT ECT and the art of spyro and cynder having a snog We don't wan't to see that stuff but what makes it worse is it was written by a 10 year old.

And like stated befor the 10 year olds hate you if you think one vertion of cynder sucked EG i liked evil and emo cynder bu i hate bratty DOTD cynder...suddenly i hated cynder all together according to them. Thats why i realy don't give a poop about spyro anymore because the fantards are just not worth it IMO that and i have better games to get.

I'm not sure I understand you. Who is insulting you for liking LoS? All I ever see on this forum are criticisms of the games themselves, not personal attacks. If you're getting insulted by members of this forum for liking LoS, report them and I'll have a word with them. Otherwise, don't take it personally if someone doesn't like a game you like and decides to criticize it. That's what fantards do.

Good for you, but for me and many others, this isn't a good enough reason. Spyro isn't the same at all, and I'm not going to blindly follow wherever it goes just because the titular character happens to be the same. It's simply not logical to me to like a game just because it happens to be called "Spyro."
No matter how many times I've heard this argument, I cannot understand why people don't get this. Old and new Spyro have nothing in common but the fact that the main character is a purple dragon named Spyro who has a friend dragonfly named Sparx.

And, ironically enough, here we get the insults, the very thing you're complaining about, from you. You'll want to calm down if you want anyone to take you halfway seriously.

It's overzealous, baseless flames like this that are helping give the LoS fans a bad name. LoS fans are known to many as immature fantards who will defend their fandoms like their lives depend on it and will flame you if you so much as hint that you dislike something about it. And it's sad, because I know quite a few LoS fans who are "sane" and accepting of other people's opinions.

It's just a game series; there is no need to get so worked up and defensive about it. I believe in this case it is you who needs to grow up and get a life. People's opinions about Spyro aren't the end of the world.

I am thankful for the pre-LoS Spyro games, and so are many other fans. We just happen to not like the particular direction the LoS games brought the series in; it doesn't mean we won't be happy with anything, as evidenced by the fact that we have liked Spyro games before LoS.

That is absolutely true, but then again if people didn't lose the plot over simple things, such as which series is best. Here is the truth, Spyro is a mediocre franchise, it never made it to the Top Tens of any list, no nominations for Game of the Year, but then again I don't think Final Fantasy did either...But the point is people often forget that it is a game, only a game, games are meant to be fun but some people often take these things so seriously and I'm not just talking about the LoS fans here...

You do sort of have a point there, but I'm not sure how it disproves what I was saying - if they had stopped when they should have, there wouldn't be a LoS to bring in all the fantards in that ruined the fandom.

Why? Because the poster looked so awfully bad, and (Almost) everyone never heard of "Velvet Octopus" ?

In my opinion, it would've been a great idea. Spyro is a high ranked game character that's pretty popular indeed. They already made various movies of games.
Dragon Ball Z, Tomb Raider..I heard there's even coming a Halo Movie..

But yes, I agree. The poster was just an amateur copy of the DOTD model so they could've at least put a little more 'effort' in it. But still..

oh well. Now this is over, am hoping for a new game anyways.
