Where are the eggs stored?

I'm sure people who do swimming glitches know that everything in the game just doesn't disappear, like break-through walls go underneath the level etc..but where are the eggs go after being hatched? They can't "poof" be gone, they have to go somewhere.

I have been wondering about that too. But if the eggs can't "poof" be gone, why can the gems and enemies?

If nothing is deleted, maybe they go far below the level? You can't swim down there.

I think, possibly, they do just 'disappear'.
When I found Agent 9's 'secret' egg, it disappeared after I obtained it from the boats. I would have thought they would keep it in the same place if that be the case. After all - You've got it, there's no need to keep it in the level really. Just my opinion.

Though if someone were to find the unhatched egg.... That would be pretty awesome.

at some point in this video, he glides over to some point near where the rhynocs are on the boats. you can see an egg.

watch up to 00:30. if you jump off the edge then, into the chasm, and turn a certain way, you can see what looks like a small egg.

i have no idea about the others, sorry.

Nah, that's just the 'shattered' effect before you break into the cave.
