Re: What we know about this game
OOOOooooOOOOOoooooo!!!!.....
A new forum section for the "new game"
Let me be the first to say:
This game will probably suck. If it's in the LoS universe, I'll hate it. If it's in the Old Spyro universe, they'll probably ruin it again. I'll hate it either way. I'm just your average never-gonna-be-happy Spyro fan. Spyro X Cynder 4 EVER!

Re: What we know about this game
Oh give it a break...Different universes...Making both spyro's interact with each other would be sheer humour....in my mind.

Evidence with links:
Dutch Spreadsheet: http://212.123.29.37/publicfolder/Prijs … k%2038.xls
http://ru.willyfogg.com/p105418516/Spyr … 3A24_9_10/
Voice Actor with the game title on his page (He deleted Spyro's Kingdom off his page): http://www.tombrom.com/index.php?option … 1&Itemid=2
Confirmed mentioning of the Game Title. It's the same site where we discovered that Activision is taking title tests on the next game from someone who worked with them. Person deleted "Spyro's Kingdom" off the page. It took place from June 2009 - Present: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/catherine-wolpe/5/332/b0b
And I discovered someone else who had worked with Activision on the next game. Unfortunately, she doesn't work there anymore. She worked on the planning, creation, and management of international web projects for AAA titles from Activision, including Spyro from May 2009 — Present (1 year 7 months). http://www.linkedin.com/in/delphinepham

Don't mean to buzzkill, but this is really old news. And this is the tenth time I've seen Aura give out the same information about the rumor. I think she's on a loop, guys, lol. Or maybe she's a bot!!! Nahhh....

Re: What we know about this game
Well, they canceled Crash without telling us, but removed any information from any fan who dared mention it.....
I must admit, I'm starting to think this has been canceled too.
(Also, shouldn't that video be yearofthe's? She was the one who posted it first......)

Too? I never said it I thought it was canceled. I'm just tired of the "news flashes," when there isn't really anything new to talk about.

It's not cancelled, we don't even fully know it is cancelled.
And there a lot of videos posting info about Spyro's Kingdom almost like yearofthe's.

My mistake, wrong wording on my part
I'm kind of tired of them though. Really, there's only need for one vid on the subject (in my opinion anyway). Give me some new news already (Plot teaser would be nice).

Give Aura a break, guys. She's posted this for like the third time, yeah, but this is a thread that specifically asks for that.

Yeah, but it's all the same stuff. The dutch spreadsheet has been the biggest piece of evidence for a month now.
And it really bothers me with some of the research, because to say they've worked on the title test since June 2009 is most likely incorrect. The lady's resume simply showed the projects she's worked on with Activision and for how long she has been there. Because "Spyro's Kingdom" was the last listed it looks like June 2009 would be tied to it, but I'm sure it's not.
So little things like that keep me from going any deeper with this game. I believe it's in production. But until more NEW information gets leaked, I don't really have any new feelings about it.
And I don't mean to give you a hard time, Aura. If I need to be updated on the game's development, you're the first person I would talk to.

I didn't say it was, I said I think it's been canceled.
And yeah, but like I said - All the same info. She got it first though, that's all I'm saying.

Re: What we know about this game
Hey, guys? BOT, BOT, for the love of all that is good, BOT!
This is a news post meant to gather what info we have on the game. If you've seen it before, take your *bleep*ing somewhere else. It's supposed to be here.
Can we get a mod in here to clean up all this crap, please?

Re: What we know about this game
I've registered just to help contribute to this topic, yay!
There's a possibility that the game's being developed by a team somewhere in China, as part of Activision Shanghai. The person who did the title tests for the game has links to China and its language (in other words, could have been translating a title). Chen Shen led an artist team based in China, while also having worked on the game.
..and most importantly Alan Wong (can't post a link because I don't have a cell phone!) had "initiated projects" with internal and external studios based in Asia.
Spyro seems to be coming up on Chinese profiles often. It's always possible that it's just a coincidence... but otherwise it might be a good reason why we can't "obtain" any proper information on the developer yet. Thanks again, language barrier!

Re: What we know about this game
I think the developer change is simply a part of the "different direction" they're going in... which is looking to be quite major:
I've just found something interesting and a bit scary. If you do a Google search for "Spyros Kingdoms" (double-quotes included), you can find a page which lists two Spyro games for the Wii - "Spyros Kingdoms Starter Pack" and "Spyros Kingdoms Adventure Pack".
I've held this belief ever since first discovering the game, but it's really looking like Activision's gone Nintendo-exclusive for this game. It's also looking like the game might be online multiplayer- only guessing by the names ("Spyro's Kingdom" does sound appropriate for an MMO).
The Wii/DS idea also matches up with the latest news update at SpyroWorld...

If this is true, I might cry.
Although it sounds like a good idea, it still doesn't make sense that they would do that. Shadow Legacy is the only nintendo exclusive game and it also seems to be the one no one owns or has played.
PS3 Activison!!! PS3 Chinese developer!!! PS3 whoever you are!!!
...
I'm not happy about this topic. It doesn't cure my nostalgia at all.
EDIT: tried searching ""Spyro's Kingdom"" and couldn't find what you found. Maybe I'm not as Google-savvy.
