But anyway,I just hope the game will be fun...I'm not that optimistic about it ,so we'll just wait and see....
more focus on gameplay plz, less on storyline(I really don't want it to feel like an interactive movie again -.-)
but thats just my opinionBefore TLOS early fanfiction had spyro with guns and cloths etc, now it's stable talking dragon adventure land, also to quote that TLOS is like a sandbox OOC
Yes,but those are just fanfictions...not actual stuff that was put in-game....
How is TLoS a sandbox game( now Im asuming you mean 'sandbox' as in free-roam,nonlinear game, cus that's what sandbox means...if you meant something else, then could you plz explain it a bit more)?
It's so linear,it basicaly has no free-roam...even DoTD (which is a bit more free-roam than TEN and ANB) has a lot of restrains, invisible walls, and you only get to run around in that level until you've completed the given objective, then the cutscene happens, and then it moves you to another area, and you can't get back to the previous one by foot/flying if you want to...
sorry for going off-topic
I ment sandbox as in story Sandbox...You could write anything because most of the Story is too cliché that it seems that Serria had People with the Story plot of a five year old who watched too much Fantasy movies..Anything can easily be done in the TLOS part of the fandom.

aah ok,now I get it ^^and yea they tried combining alot of story elements (that we already seen in alot of movies etc...) to try and make an 'epic' game, and it just turned out predictable and cliche (imo atleast )
Anything can easily be done in the TLOS part of the fandom.
hmm,I dunno but imo for some reason it would seem very weird and out of place if they would try make TLoS all off a sudden happy and lighthearted...cus they've been holding this ''omgepic-dark-gloomy-sad-linear'' kind of story for 3 games...

Re: What we know about this game
I hope it's real, but I would not be suprised if it's fake. All sorts of rumours are spread and you never know when something's going to be cancelled *cough* Spyro Movie *cough*.
And another thing I find very hard to believe is that it will be yet another LOS Spyro game. They finished LOS, they defeated Malefor - there's nothing more to do. If they try and add more stuff in that wasn't plotted at the beginning it'll just be another bloody Enter The Dragonfly, only in the LOS series.
Sorry I'm so negative, but I just don't know where to put myself at the moment. I'm having a bad week.
I SHIP IT

I agree with you, but I would be willing to see Malefor again. I see the way Malefor was defeated in DotD as the same way they defeated him the first time. They never really show him dying. They show him being trapped in some spiritual realm, which could be very similar to his entrapment at the well of souls.

Re: What we know about this game
The Adventure Pack and Starter Pack words has been deleted from the source page by Activision! But I saved a screenshot of it, I think someone else did too!
You're starting to scare me with all of this "Activision deleted the topic/words/names/titles/spreadsheet." What if Activision was deleting things and asking them to be removed because they have discontinued the project? (I'm feeling pessimistic today)

Re: What we know about this game
alrighty then...
Let's break into the Activision offices in Santa Monica a night and look for clues and classified information.
I'll get the flashlights and sneak-wear. Aura, you get the blueprints to the headquarters building.

Re: What we know about this game
Spyro's Kingdom? That has to be without a doubt the lamest title in the history of history...
This can't be for real. I don't even mean that it isn't for real, I mean for the sake of humanity it shouldn't be.
I mean really. It sounds more like some fantards demented abomination that could be very loosely considered a fanfic.
Good Lord...
I'm scared for Spyro.
It's only redeeming quality is that they at least didn't pull it out of their *bleep* in 1 year...
seriously. -_-

meh...
If it's real, there's a good chance that it's just a working title. And plus, I thought "Year of the Dragon" was a lame title too, but it happens to be the best game there is.
BTW everyone: Chinese calendar's next Year of the Dragon starts January 23rd, 2012, water dragon to be exact. Wouldn't it be cool if Activision released one then?
