What are you hoping for in this game?

See title.

I'm looking for a 'brighter' game, rather than another epic one. I'd prefer a return to the classics, but the Legend series will be good too (Er, if done right this time).

Also. Bianca. Back. NOW.

I'm hoping it will have a good story, good gameplay, some reappearance of characters we haven't seen in a while.

That's a bit vague. People have different ideas of 'decent'. See, I hated DotD but absolutely loved AHT.

For me, I'd like the game to be like Shadow Legacy: a lighthearted and comical Original Spyro game, but with some serious elements like The Legend of Spyro. That way, fans of both are satisfied. No arguments. Wonderful.

I'd also like to see some of the older characters return. Bianca was in Shadow Legacy, but we haven't seen Elora in a game since Year of the Dragon.

A nice, bright, colourful game would be good. I don't really mind if its part of the legend series or the original. I also hope that we get to see some old characters return. Hopefully moneybags (without a fez :\), and Bianca. And if Elora appears, I hope they make her amazing. big_smile

what i'm hoping is:
1) it's not a new universe. old or TLOS.
2) it's better than ETD
3) the graphics are good
4) it's Spyro. by that, i mean they don't completely mess up the gameplay. TLOS was just about as far as you could go with keeping a game like Spyro, a game like Spyro. we don't need a first-person shooter or something. a good platformer.

I'm hoping for playable secondary characters like in Spyro 3, Except there should be more...MORE! Hoping for a freeplay mode with customizable characters. Honestly, I hate most "fan characters" (mostly the crappily drawn ones and the mary sues) but I would love that feature in the game. I'm still waiting for Spyro to get online features.

A continuation of the old series would be awesome, as long as there is better character developmentation, e.g. taking the depth of the LOS series and giving it a lighter hearted twist in the older series. Also, multiplayer would be awesome, imagine having an open landscape like Avalar which you are able to have matches with or against other dragons etc. and being able to design your own characters/dragons etc. If Activision are wanting this game to be successful in this day and age, then some online material should be incorparated into the game (multiplayer FTW!) smile

I wouldn't mind it if it went to a less mature Conker. (Aka humor but with a sense that something dark is happening).

Or maybe, to spice it up, Spyro is actually wanted as a criminal for a crime he didn't do. Not original, but it would certainly be a step up for the series.

I think it would be cool for just the basic plot thing like in the first 3 games, but I don't mind the different characters and/or styles it will have. it'd be cool to have the flying ability constantly like in dawn of the dragon, but in a game that has levels or different places and/or things to collect like in the first three.

Though many want the old characters back i highly doubt that would happen as it takes a lot of effort to write them in and also, they have to buy the characters back of the original Universal Entertainment owners of the brand. For this i would like new characters brought in.

I would like a tiny bit of alteration in the graphics on the dragons, they seem to look very smooth and shiny in the last game and I believe some scale texture is in need.

The dragons in the last game all seem to have alterations i don't appreciate. The guardians should return to their original design and I clearly remember that Cynder is meant to be a black dragon, her being purple defeats the purpose of being a purple dragon.

I would like them to keep the playing style from the last game, being able to switch characters and play as Cynder proved quiet fun. I like the idea of being able to play with a friend.

I would like the game to be able to play on all platforms like, Xbox 360 and Playstations
