There Leak Rumor of Spyro having his Very First MMO

Spyro Kingdoms Adventure Pack
And Spyro Kingdom Starter Pack.

Tell me Everyone What you think Should Spyro get a MMO
it so Should it be on Ps3 or 360

i love the Wii but i don't think it will Be Powerful Enough to Handier a MMO.
But What are your Thought on this Spyro Kingdom a MMO And God Bles

i think in a way.
it maybe a Good idea for Spyro to have his own MMO
and a Bad idea because we maybe able to create are Dragon Character in the game.
but a Bad idea because Spyro Shouldn't be a MMO
i see Where he getting at but we all don't know ya
but if true it there choice who know it maybe good

For an typical MMO to work there will need to be alot of content to work with. Even though there are many locations in the Spyro universe there is not enough constant culture establishment shown almost anywhere in the series. Even the locations need to be mapped on a globe (or two in this case) for it to be feasable. Then again, most MMO have RPG elements while Uru (Myst Online) didn't.

Myst was too faceless, The whole world was a book and the games didn't give much, Also That isolation was enough to think that SOMETHING WAS GOING TO JUMP AROUND THE CORNER AND SCARE ME..But no nothing happened (Untill you play the next game)

I know that. It was the non-heavy RPG structure that I was pointing at. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to need the multiplayer aspect most of the time. The portion that did went into figuring out these rulebooks for these old Dunni mini-games and exploring the hub area.

Anyway, what could do with Spyro for an MMO is something that seems far fetched but... ah, they can probably do it. Hardly any economics, politics, or laws to tangle with anyway in either game universe.

How would they pull it off?
just imagine 1000+ people playing a Spyro mmo,on the wii,with those nunchucks and the wii remote or whatever,at the same time,the wii wouldn't be able to handle it and it would be laggy,and the harddrive space would suffer (assuming you also have other games on the same console)
On the PC you can always get more space,a new graphic card,etc...
if it was PC or PS3 ,ok maybe some online features would be cool
but on the wii I just can't see it happening,especially if were talking about a full mmorpg game,not just a lil' online multiplayer(1-4 ppl or something)

It took Final Fantasy 10 sequels for them to decide to make a mmorpg(final fantasy 11) and now final fantasy 14
and a hell lot of popularity...final fantasy is a rpg,so the mmo stuff would come sooner or later....Spyro is a platformer(well,was...) and an action/adveture/beat-em-up/whatever,so why would they make a mmo?...

but we don't have all that info on Spyro Kingdom anyway.
And let not all Forget it only Rumor so it doesn't mean it going to happen.
and the game was support to some out on wii and Ds
but there only Slow Adventure Pack And Starter pack for wii.
But nothing on DS

but i agree with you on the wii
but didn't the Ps2 has 2 MMO Ever Quest and Final Fantasy 11
isn't the Ps2 just as Powerful as the Wii btw

Where on earth are you guys getting this MMO nonsense? Spyro's Kingdom is going to be for Nintendo consoles only, and when has Nintend ever had an MMO? Never! And I don't think they're going to start anytime soon.

The key is in what MMO actually means: massive multi-player ON-LINE role playing game.

There is no indication that Activision is making a PC version of this game. Seriously, where is this coming from?

@Kimba28 They don't need to install all the game data onto the hard drive. If they have the game data on remote servers that the clients can stream packets of temporary data... that would save space but won't improve loading times based on connection speeds. That's just a theory though. The game discs may have most of the basic essentials such as code and sound.

Which makes it evidence for an MMO...how? This just means there will be two options available, one that probably has bonus features.

It's not impossible that this might be an RPG, but that's very different from an MMORPG.

I know that it's still too early to tell. But the majority of MMO games have Adventure Packs and Starter Packs.

True, but Nintendo has yet to do an MMO and I doubt they're going to start one with Spyro. My guess is that one pack is a collector's edition of sorts with bonus material for fans and the other is just the game.
