Not like WoW or CoD; more like the Conker multiplayer where you (a squirrel or bear with different abilities depending on which squirrel/bear you are, such as throwing knives or flamethrowers) try to complete the objective (though you have to kill people to do so I guess).
What I don't like about the CoD multiplayer is that you don't have different abilities and stuff like that, just different guns and being fast at reloading them.

I think it could be good. If Dawn of the Dragon was capable of online co-op, I would be playing it more often.

It's not New Spyro's fault Insomniac divorced Spyro. If Spyro wants to get mad at someone, it should be towards his ex's 'replacement' Ratchet and Klank.

Once again: Insomniac does not, did not, and never has or will own the rights to the Spyro franchise. The game was conceived and commissioned by Universal and it was Universal which did not renew Insomniac's contract when it expired. Since that time, it has been Universal's decision (and right) to pass their property (Spyro) around to whomever they felt could make them money off the franchise they created.

Yes, Insomniac was the best development studio the series ever had. No, they did not "divorce" or "abandon" or whatever the Spyro franchise. They, in fact, had no control over it whatsoever.

My opinion on the order of games:
Old Spyro>Hero Spyro (AHT and SL)>New Spyro>Ratchet

ON TOPIC: If Spyro becomes MMO, it might be good, but I'm thinking it would be better as 4-player co-op or strategy.

Why does it matter if Ratchet is Spyro's replacement? What were you expecting? Insomniac wasn't going to stop making games just because their contract was up on one franchise.

For the record, anyone who thinks Ratchet is bad has clearly never played the games. If you liked the old Spyro, the first Ratchet and Clank game comes highly recommended (it's very similar in tone and gameplay style, and Ratchet and the old Spyro have a lot in common in terms of personality).

I've played one of them. It was good, but it wasn't very replayable for me like the Spyro games are.

I've never played Ratchet and Clank, so I never do comment about the game. However, you are incorrect about the franchise, they dictated their own game making future, and did drop Spyro for Ratchet and Clank. That's a game that I have always wanted to play and never had gotten to (Ratch & Clank).

They are different franchise's so don't go explain how they stole the idea and based it on them.

Doesn't mean they still didn't love the dragon, there are many easter eggs in the series.

The games are fun like Spyro, but R&K don't have the charm Spyro brought to PS gamers...

This and i'll never understand why they have to make a main number final fantasy game an MMO they did the same with FF11.

Hey everyone...

The new Spyro game is gonna be a "______." It will allow you to "_______" during the game and "_______" other levels. Spyro's "_______" ability will also make its debut.

Response:

I hate the idea of Spyro being a "_______." No cares about "_______" and "_________" during the game is just gonna make it worse. And Spyro "_________" is just stupid. I wish it was like the old ps1 games...

A massively multiplayer online game (also called MMO) is a multiplayer video game which is capable of supporting hundreds or thousands of players simultaneously. Essentialy they are massive games where a character can wander around and interact/chat with others, e.g. Runescape. wink
