Would you want Cynder back?

I know this topic is going to be created one day, so I'll make it. Would you want Cynder back? Why or why not? You must state legible opinions. Apparently I view Cynder as the most debatable character in the entire Spyro series.

Acceptable opinions:
I think she should not. Giving Spyro a girlfriend is odd. This series was not intended to be a romantic gaga styled dark tale.

Non-acceptable opinions:
Yeah she the best character in the howl game! roll

I really want to know the majority of your point on why you don't want this character in the game. As much as comments as I see on legend base videos, I see Cynder is the most talked about character, out-beating Spyro and Sparx by a 60-foot pole. Giving that saying, what are your thoughts?

It would be interesting to have Cynder return. But not as a girlfriend to Spyro, either an anti-hero, or just a friend to Spyro.

Personally, I think a catfight between Cynder and Ember would be amusing lol...
But in all seriousness, I'd like to see Cynder back. She was a good character, aside from all the mary sue comments about her in DOTD. Plus, they really need more female dragons in the Spyro series.

Well I think a side story love connection with Spyro is to be expected. They just have to illustrate it properly. Cynder is not like Ember. She's no joke, she's not that girlie, and most importantly, Cynder has her own moves. I would expect Cynder to be in the game as a character that is made to enhance the Spyro story both dramatically and romantically. A little sexual tension might do our purple dragon some good. Let's just hope they get it right this time...

I agree with the Anti-hero stuff. It'd make her interesting if Spyro did good and all she did was yell at him for doing it half the game. Or that would be hilarious I am looking for. Hmm...choices...

Cynder is my favorite game character

Or at least the curiosity of another dragon the same age. If they went with the LoS Spyro perspective even a little bit, Spyro's on-going fascination with Cynder would continue. (e. g. "She IS just like me," "We have to find her, she can't be out there alone...," "Get close to me, NOW," "Because you've left me nothing else to fight for.")

I would never expect Spyro to practice his mating calls. But he may care more for the well-being of Cynder than he does his own brother (Sparx).

Hmmm... I wonder if Sparx will be in it...? They did kind of abandon him.

Sexual?! That's a little M rated, and Spyro was NOT intended to be an M rated game. Then maybe we won't be allowed to buy it? I'm sure a mini-game from pressing buttons...[Technical Difficulties, please stand by]. I could understand if the developers just put in a child. Wait, no, Spyro should NOT have kids, atleast not yet. :-|

obviously, i only want Cynder back if it's set in TLOS. if it's based in another universe, i don't want her in it, as she wouldn't fit in.

sexual doesn't mean it has to be M rated. It simply means that the hero-princess mentality story is a concentrated drive in the game.

Imagine Spyro on a peaceful day. What does he do? Where does he go? His actions depend on is environment, his personality, and yes, the sexual tension that exists. It may sound like I'm being ridiculous, and maybe I am. But I think small details like background feelings of a character are taken for granted. Without them, the character becomes a robot.

All of this sexual tension talk is really based on the assumption that Spyro will be of that age, which we are 't sure about.

That's just my mean way of saying that may not be a good idea to put in this game...yet.

Well I speak sexual tension like it's a very harmless thing. For instance, I would vouch that Year of the Dragon, and A Hero's Tail are games that display some amount of sexual tension, and everyone loves those games.

don't misinterpret sexual tension like I'm talking about why Spyro takes forever in the bathroom or something... ...that's gross.

I would love for her to return, because in my own right I imagined her as a cross between Land before Time's Cera and Rogue the bat. (She ain't going nowhere)

Most of the guardians will stay and be mixed up with Titan.

And now sparx will be slapstick comedy.

Malefor will become a butt monkey and i predict Red being a nutcase like they did to Dr. Neo and Tiny

Anyway, how was there any sexual tension in the Year of the Dragon and A Hero's Tail?

Yeah, Hunter and Bianca kissed whilst Spyro and Elora watched awkwardly in YotD, and Ember had a crush on Spyro in AHT, but there was nothing sexual do to with that. Heck, Hunter and Bianca wouldn't even work out sexually and Ember is what, 11? 12?

Sexual tension is the thing in Twilight when Edward and Bella want to get it on so badly but can't because Edward is a vampire (hate to use Twilight as an example, but it's the first thing that came into my head). Not Ember having a cutesy crush on Spyro or Hunter kissing Bianca on the lips.

Anyway,

I think most dedicated Spyro fans who are unbiased on the difference between the storyline of the original and the legend series would be looking forward to a game with every character in it, no? I'm not that much of a fan, but I'd still like Cynder to return. Well, none of the characters in any of the series have disappointed me yet, just the storylines of some games, so I'm in the 'yes' boat.

Cynder is one of the best characters. Her mysterious personality in the first two LoS promoted that. DotD's Cynder was definately a fail considering the lack of mysterious personality she ended up having. However, it all depends on how they choose to remake her character. Spyro's character has had a few minor changes over the years, so let's hope that Cynder gets an overhaul of more mysterious character by the developers.
