Sparx-a-Vision

I've always been a bit of  a graphics junky (which is why i can't stand the DS) and i've always had an addiction for exploring in games. So I've always thought it would be cool if the programmers would put in a feature so you could be able to hold down a button and fly around as sparx. just so you could see the stuff lying around. I'm sure it would also be useful for the game as well, like trying to find collectables or scouting ahead for hiding enemies. It would be kinda like the swimming in the air glitch. only with Sparx!  sparx

That's a good idea!  Maybe in Spyro's Kingdom...

Past Spyro games have implemented Sparx as a playable character, but they limit his free fly ability.  Just one entire level where Sparx has missions and completes them in a 3D world would be good enough for me.

Re: Sparx-a-Vision

the idea sounds great! big_smile that'd be great for a future game.

my only problem is, it may make some of the gameplay a little too easy, especially for older players. if they put it in a game, maybe the game could be a little harder than the first 3.

Re: Sparx-a-Vision

I like the simplicity of the Spyro 3 and SOF Sparx levels, but the Starfox style in AHT was a bit more hardcore.

Yo, Spyro
I'm really happy for you, but Jazz Jackrabbit is one of the best platformers of all time.

What's keeping them from making flying levels for Sparx that are free roam?  They did it for Spyro in the original trilogy and for Sgt. Byrd in AHT.

Ha! ha! Yeah... and like the games not too easy already!

Meh... maybe it could be like a bonus er somthin. Like it could be a real time art gallery. Not only would you see pictures of some of the sceanery you could be sparx and forget about enemies and gems and stuff and just check out all the graphics in all their majesty.... or not.  :-P

now that's something we need for TLOS, primarily DOTD. i don't care how bad people loved or hated those games, those levels were amazing!
