I had a dream about this game...

That's right. I dreamt that I saw the advert and then the game came out in the UK first so I bought it.

It was original Spyro (woop woop!) and was a surprisingly nice mix of the original trilogy with A Hero's Tail. The level I was in looked like Wizard Peak meets Cloudy Domain and there was a thief with a dragon egg you had to chase. The gems were the sort you had to collect like in the original trilogy, not like in A Hero's Tail though.

The game was called Spyro's Kingdom because someone had overthrown the dragon castle and Spyro had to make his way through the courtyard and up to the top of the castle, collecting metal parts in portals then taking it to a blacksmith to open the sealed doors to progress until he eventually got to the top.

Sounds very Super Mario 64-ish, but sometimes my dreams tell the future... tongue

I honestly care little. But I don't think there was a Spyro game released in the U.K. first. Eurocom's Spyro game was released in the PAL and NA regions at the same time, i think.

Honestly, it's hard for me to comment on a dream I didn't have.

I find the dream interesting, and funny, because I wonder how much on has to daydream about an unreleased video game to dream about it at night.

Agreed.

Anyhow, I think that was a very interesting dream. And it sounds quite believable too. Especially getting up to the top of the tower - I'd love to see a game like that!

I had a dream about a sequel to A Hero's Tail once. All I can remember was Spyro (who was coloured red for some reason) jumping over those electrical beams that you have to leap over whilst battling Red and Ineptune. My dreams aren't often detailed when I want them to be. hmm

I don't mean to bump this thread, but I too had a dream of Classic Spyro making a come back - last night.

He looked like when he was in A Hero's Tail and he was moving about in a beach level (looked like a combination of Coastal Remains and Luau Island). Although he charged really weird (and the charge button was still Circle instead of Square), the gameplay was like that of the originals. big_smile

I had a dream I was at a Spyro convention, and several of you were there. You all looked like your avatars or pictures you've posted, except for Latias Fan, who was in a giant red garbage can pretending to be a robot for some unexplainable reason. It was...weird, to say the least. I think I need a break from this site.

Sorry to post again - but I did have another dream about Spyro's Kingdom. One member at Activision was interviewed for the game.

Interviewer: Why the Starter and Adventure Packs?

Guy at Activision: Because we want to enhance the Spyro experience.

Also, the game cover was exactly like ETD's - but just with a different title.

I think I need a break from this site.

Sometimes I have dreams which come from playing too much FPS and RPG games. I have been attacked by this creature thousands of times. It is really mean. sad
