I don't wan't any "This is not our choice, it is the writer's!" . We are doing it for fun.

I wan't Flame and Ember be in, as well as Cynder. big_smile

But Ember and Flame should be lovers . wink

Flame, Ember, Elora, Bianca, Sheila, Agent 9, Sgt. Byrd, Bentley, Moneybags return......

Though I don't want Flame x Ember. I'd like to see more new dragons of the same age, so we don't see what's coming (unlike previous Legend games - That's not meant to sound insulting, btw).

I think they should have Spyro and Sparx, and make up the rest of the characters. I want an entirely new series - no recycled characters apart from the main two, i.e. Spyro and Sparx. When they recycled Hunter he turned out rubbsih - the only thing good about him was his design.

Personally, I wouldn't mind it if they had some tension between them, but that is only if they handle it RIGHT.

But I would like a better storyline and characters. For gameplay, more puzzles that don't include 'move box here' or gameplay that doesn't consist of holding down a button to nuke everyone.

I would really love for Elora to come back. I think a game (set in the original universe of course) where Spyro revisits Avalar could be awesome. Of course, there would be no Cynder, which would make it even more awesome. Don't get me wrong, I like the character, but I think we need a break from her, as her and the Cyndorks are getting slightly annoying. Also, I would really like the option to play as other characters, Especially Elora.

What would concern me with reintroducing Elora is the challenge of illustrating her. Platform cartoony-type games become increasing hard to animate in video games the further we get into high-res graphic video games. My guess is that eventually, graphics will be less and less important for this type of game, just like 2-D animation TV shows and movies have charm that revolutionary 3-D animation tends to lose sight of. The more realistic a cartoon tries to be, the more disturbing it tends to be.

It would be a shame if Elora ended up looking like Mrs. Tumnus.

The whole reboot was unnecessary!
Spyro wasn't doing so bad that only a reboot could save him!
AHT wasn't that great,but thats why the developers should go and see what they've done wrong in the game,and fix those stuff in the next game!

TLoS games aren't even ''Spyro games'' IMO

Becouse pretty much the only thing that makes them a ''Spyro game'' is the fact the main protagonist is a purple dragon named Spyro and his buddy Sparx the dragonfly!
Theres none of those stuff that were iconic to a ''Spyro game''
like for example
You got rings,loopdeloops,speedy platforming,etc etc in Sonic games
But if you take all those out ,its not a ''Sonic game'' anymore
even if the characters are of the same names and species
There are no homeworlds,portal levels,speedways,gems(no,those crystals from TLoS do not count,cus they are used for health,mana and someupgrade/special attack stuff only,and are not collectables),sparx healthbar,sheep(or other lil' bystanders ),mini-games and the list goes on...

thats not a Spyro specific thing
Also the charge in TeN,ANB is pretty bad and hard to control,so you rarely use it...
And its removed in DoTD...

They just made a linear,repetative,beat-em-up that rips off alot of stuff
and just slapped Spyro's logo onto it so it can get more buyers and publicity!
Heck,the reviewers mostly praise the TLoS games only by its visuals,soundtrack and presentation and not its gameplay(the thing that should be the most important in a video game like Spyro)
This is all in my opinion tho.

the graphics, soundtrack and the armor idea from DoTD is about the only good thing about it, the story was just way too generic, do something unexpected, a story that is complex but can still be understood, that would definetly make an interesting game, the armor idea, the soundtrack and the graphic quality of DoDT would also improve it but they should be carefull with how they make it, and kimbia, seriously, how many games have you seen that does not rip of stuff from another one? and the old spyro may have been good but it sometimes gets way too simplistic IMO,

Why does everyone think that Flame and Ember are going to be in love and work together just because they are a male and female charater in the same game? They never even met!

I agree with those who are against love pairings in-game. Spyro has evolved into something that it isn't, and it's almost hard to believe that the little, arrogant purple dragon who used to charge around finding eggs has turned into this deep, strong and modest Gary Stu who is saving the world because it is his destiny.
