Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Secrets
I thought I'd post some secrets from Spyro 3 up here, just in case people haven't heard of them.
The secret room in Midday Gardens, one you can't enter.
This one you can get into, but it's tricky and you need gameshark to do it.
This is an amazing, Gameshark-free secret - a hidden egg!
Evening Lake's hidden areas...
And, finally, my personal favourite, the Dino Mines secret sub-level.
I do not own these videos and I am not responsible for uncovering these secrets, but they're dámn good.
Enjoy trying them out.
I SHIP IT

The Midday Gardens secret room (because I found it. Someone might have found it before me, but I was the first to post it on youtube) or the secret cave in Fireworks Factory.

You can use the Ninja Box proxy jump.

Actually, LXShadow found the cave, I was the first to upload to get to the area without Gameshark.

From that list, the hidden room is my fave.
The hidden egg and that room were the only 2 that I didn't find before they were uploaded to Youtube. I'd found the others years beforehand, messing around as always.

Re: Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Secrets
actually you don't need a Gameshark. just good skills in finding where to go behind that box. i used to know where a good spot is, but i long since forgot
actually, that's the same egg that the egg thief has. not really a hidden one.
as for my favorite... probably the one in Dino Mines. that's just cool, i wonder what was in there.
i'd love to try some of them about but my Gameshark that works with all the other games doesn't work with Spyro 3, and if somebody can finally help me figure that out that'd be great.

Are you using a US copy of Spyro? I've had major problems getting codes to work on the US version, there seems to be several different versions of the game.
Although sometimes that worked to my advantage, and I'd have a cheat code that did something that hadn't been done before XD

Personally, I liked the dino mines one the most, because it leaves the most to the imagination about what you could have done there.

Re: Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Secrets
I haven't owned the third game in years so I haven't really looked into what glitches and hidden things have been found on it, so I had no idea of the hidden egg or the rooms in Midday Garden or Fireworks Factory. I'm giving one vote to the Midnight Mountain one because of how tantalizing it always was when I was a kid, and one vote to Midday Gardens because it's really strange
I like the original Spyro trilogy.
I am currently ranking the 74 main levels from it.. which you probably already know if you're reading this, since my ranking thread is basically the only place I'm posting.

Re: Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon Secrets
Um, I wouldn't say that the hidden egg is a secret. It's probably a glitch. The dragon's name is 'Pee-Wee', which is the same as the egg obtained by killing the egg theif. The egg theif actually spawns just above the hidden egg. It's most likely a programming error, allowing the user to obtain the egg without touching the egg theif.
My favourite secret is the Dino Mines secret. I love exploring Beta levels, and this is no exeption.
I have heard of another secret; apparently there is a purple gem on one of the clouds in Cloud Spires. Collecting it actually adds to your gen count, but I'm not sure if it stays like that.
