Maximum number of gems!

Hey guys - i was investigating HOW HIGH can the gem counter get, well it will not go above 1,000,000 (1 million)
or go on 1 million, it says on 999,999 even if u collect gems,

Its kinda wierd though because when you get 999,999 gems and you get 1 more, you wounder why isnt it going higher
